Whoops! Who turned off power to the game?! Perhaps CBS forgot to pay enough for their electricity bill?!

This game is still being played, now called Bargain Game. I believe the other 2 games that had "Barker" or "Bob" in their names (Trader Bob and Barker's Markers a/k/a Make Your Mark) have been retired.

So Spelling Bee isn't the only game in which none of the electronics work.

Of course Holly turned it the wrong way 😂

This was considered as the infamous blooper in “Barker’s Bargain Bar” (aka “Bargain Game”), because of the mechanical problems and no power to run. They already fixed the problem until the game resumed on later episodes.
