@@BrownBrother27it was only undone because Government Motors made that no longer matter. The intent was "to support the American job market" basically.
I mean... this was at a low point for Doctor Who. It's not like it really ever aired stateside in the 80s since American fans weren't happy that Tom Baker was recast. Pretty surreal to hear it on TPIR, though.
@@BlueCrystalTear I know some PBS stationed aired it (WTTW in Chicago, for example)... but yeah, it was kind of a low point for the series at the time.
