I grew up 5 houses down from David and was a childhood friend. He is a great and exceptionally intelligent person......I can think of no one else I know that deserves it more.....ps when he said it was his dream to be on the show he meant it.....well done David!

George's voice sounded really weird when describing the products but sounded OK when he calls out contestant's names. I love this game show. Only game show that audiences can go wild answer shout all they want. Let's not forget the fantastic prices
TPIR trivia: There are two active pricing games where the audience has to be quiet: Clock Game, and the part of Hole in One or Two where the contestant is attempting to putt.
There have been Dream Car Weeks in other seasons, but is this the first season where every game has a car? This was an amazing episode! Thank you htmlcc92 :)
I can't remember how long they've been doing it, but I think at least the last two Dream Car Week's have had one day with all cars, with the other days just being three car days.

Felt bad for Matthew. Didn't win the car. Didn't win the showcase. But he did get chosen as a contestant, finally got a prize right with $1500 bid and on the nose for $500 cash, won some pocket change, and beat the wheel to move on to the showcases. Winning $2009.84 in prizes. ($1500+$500+$9.84)
He made it as a promise to Bob Barker upon taking the hosting role. Bob was okay with the show reinventing itself, but all he asked was to keep that plug in place.
I never saw this contest before (I'm not from the USA). I was watching one from 1981. The only differences are that people in the crowd (and contestants) are pretty fatter and the cars pretty smaller now.
Most everyone in the U.S. is over weight. 20 years ago the average American women weighed 120 to 130 lbs. Now those average weights are 140 to 150. Ugh. It's not necessarily gluttony but larger portions and TOO MUCH FAST FOOD. I quit going out and started cooking ALL my meals and LOST 20 lbs. McDonald's + Jack in the Box equal diabetes.🤔

I love this show but the date has to be wrong because last February everyone was still distancing and wearing masks even though there were more lockdowns in march. I'm making this comment on March 19th.
Kitt Keith The shows are taped several months in advance. Since _this_ episode was aired (on TV) on 2/17/2020, it could have been _taped_ 5 or 6 months earlier, which would have been around August or Sept, 2019.... _before_ Covid. 🙂
