This song is a must for homes with the stair chair stair climber machines.

The only game on the Price is Right where I rooted for them to lose. I loved the yodelling and I loved when he fell off the cliff.

Back in 2000, there was a contestant named Walter and he played the Cliffhanger game and when it would play this same song he started to sing it and Bob was impressed with his skills.

When I was at my college radio station, one night we had free reign to play absolutely anything during a few hours. This song definitely made the playlist.

Okay it’s after midnight and I’m having such a crazy flashback. Whenever this music came on during the price is right, I remember distinctly as a very small child being utterly terrified by this music, to the point where I would run out of the room every time it would play. It’s so surreal almost 30 years later hearing this and recalling that nonsensical terror over yodeling lol

I've got that album! Great conversation piece, and I paid all of $5.99 for it.

All I remember is Dannis James' gaffe of "There goes Fritz!" and how it devastated Holly Halllstrom for quite a while!!

When I was a young buck, like say 4 or 5 years old, I used to be absolutely terrified of this song and the damn Cliffhanger game. I would run away and hide behind the couch.

Before "On the Franches Mountains" was used as the mountain climber's theme in the pricing game "Cliff Hangers" on "The Price Is Right", "The Yodeling Song" from the 1937 Disney animated classic, "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" was the mountain climber's original theme.

While in Germany in the late 60's I purchased this album that is shown. I think the music is the greatest and I still have the album to this day.

I never knew I was missing this song in my life. Till I found it here on RU-vid. Thank you! xD

This is great, years ago I recorded the Price is Right part and made it my ringtone on the phone to get reactions from people, too bad modern phones don't let you do that as nobody would ever have to buy a ringtone again.

I have this album & I listen to it all the time, Swiss mountain music has the richest melody & sounds like no other kind of music, it has a distinctive sound all it's own. Very few Swiss singers can yodel & the ones that can are the best yodelers in the world. Every track on the LP is great & interesting. Album was recorded in the '60's & says it's a lost art, I wonder how many Swiss musicians are keeping this art form alive today. I live in the UK, I must go to Switzerland & find out.
