Not too long after this aired, another contestant who reminds me of grandpa from the cartoon "The Rugrats" came on down after 40+ tapings that date from when Johnny Olsen was still alive, bid correctly on the only one bid segment and got up to play for a car on 3 Strikes not picking the same chip twice. He got the first two along with the 3 strike chips but as the back of his shirt said, "3 Strikes Not Out" or something like that.
there was another contestant a few years later like that...michael was his name....hit the perfect bid and said something similar to that...then mastered buy or sell...
