Man!, this guy, announcing via his t-shirt being the "Plinko Master" GETS to play plinko and ends up winning the biggest amount $10,000 dollars. This guy's a champ!.
ChrisSchimpf It's just because of the shirt he was wearing. If he got a perfect run for 50K the title would have been "Perfect Plinko Game", or something like that.
His childhood dream is to play Plinko... I couldn't help but smile at that... Partially because when we were kids, stuck sick in bed and at the time there wasn't a 24 hour cartoon channel, and the one channel that did air cartoons had preschool shows until the afternoon - we would watch the Price is Right, and imagine ourselves up there with Bob Barker playing Plinko the few shows that would air it... (And then there were the dedicated kids who would record the show for afternoon viewing...)
I feel you man. I always wondered as a kid if there could be a Kid Version of the Price is Right. That won't come to be, but I always wondered if I could play Plinko someday..
Disagree. It definitely feels like a piece is missing without Bob, no doubt, and no one can ever replace him. But I really feel like Drew was a good choice for host of this show. His massive weight loss is inspiring too.
Hey, Bob HAD to retire, okay? He was getting old. We all love Bob Barker, but he's now a has-been. Actually, he has been a "has-been" for over seven years. He can't play host/executive producer the rest of his life.
If you are implying that it is rigged by the fact that someone wearing that shirt got chosen, and got to play plinko. You should know that everyone in the crowd is interviewed prior to the show, obviously they liked his character and when he won they decided he'd play plinko.
As the plinko chip descends, Drew watches absentmindedly, contemplating every life decision in that second. Where he went wrong? Why him? "There's no backing out now" the devil interjects
i'm surprised this show is still on. I thought after BB left, it would probably last on a few years, but kudos to Drew Carey for keeping it going this long
wtf am I doing with my life. Either it blows I'm watching this sitting at home doing nothing... OORrr. my life is awesome, sitting at home watching Price on utube.
Anyone who watches the show frequently enough knows there's a technique to this game, it isn't just probability. The slide-down method in the center of the board works best. I've seen people do the slide-down technique in the center of the board and get $50,000 a few times - so yes, you can master this game if you know how to play it right, plus luck.
Bryon Bristow I'm saying that there is a technique that leads to better results that most people don't know about. Of course it will take luck, as it's a game of chance. You know what I meant. Go back to your lonely cave you fucking troll.
Zombie1488 Yeah except when it's a Million Dollar Spectacular the $10,000 becomes $50,000, and people have hit it multiple times. I was just using the largest example possible. Know your shit next time.
a two bedroom house, a full time job, a high enough credit score, an affordable mortgage rate, home owners insurance, health/dental insurance, car insurance, new automobile, utilities...thats a lot to accomplish in two years, but somehow i dont believe you. but if you did accomplish all of that in the span of two years then its obvious momma and papa bear had a small hand in such feats of an 18 year old kid.
Uh.. yeah. It does. He has to get those Plinko disks. If he gets the disks then he gets the maximum number of chances to get $10k. If he gets the maximum number of disks and gets $10k for each disk, he would indeed be the MASTER. However, as it was pointed out -- they were probably saying it ironically b/c it's on his shirt.
I watched the video and witnessed three failed attempts and one successful one. He got 1 in 4, which means he got 25% of them. At the school the rest of us went to anything below a 60% was a failure (at your school it was probably a couple of sad faces written in red, am I right?). The surgeon who correctly performs the surgery 1 in 4 times is absolutely not a Master.
fantastic, honesty is the best policy, whatever that means heh, i know the feeling though, i had my own place, a good job and on the fast track to living the "american dream", but a crippling alcohol, and pill addiction turned all of that around, so now im back to square one and slowly climbing the ladder to where i used to be, so its rough for anyone
Oh, my dear sir... You're right it IS hard for someone who lives with their parents in 2012. That's why I moved out at 18 and got myself a full time job and live in a two bedroom house. Took me two years to get there too. Indeed, I may fail, but I would like to say that I feel your pain when recieving free meals and a rent free living becomes a chore.
Please tell me you're trolling too... if not... When you call someone a 'Master' that usually means they're extra ordinarily good at something. Getting 1 $10000 chip isn't special or extraordinary at all, most people who play plinko get $10000, so he is no master
he's just so happy to be there. all those troubles are gone for now. he can forget about that car loan. that rent. that credit card bill. that student loan. that medical bill from that one time... well, you know the story. he's rich beyond his wildest dreams!
Hey, he might pay rent. I don't know many parents who would let their 24 year old live at home without paying rent. It only took you 2 years to get a house? I've been stuck in this apartment for 7 years. Can't get shit for a loan because of student loan debt.
Nope, I rent the 2 bedroom house with my friend, my credit score is wrecked(thanks to momma bear who ran out when I was 6). I am stil on poppa bears health/dental insurance(who kicked me out at 18 after graduation), which is the only type of "hand out" I get. I just work my butt off to support myself.
Ha listen up all you people out there I'm cooler than all you I'm just kidding I'm not mean like that only if I need to be p.s. I love when people do the fish face if a circle of people do it around me I will faint because it is so cute ah
I love when people just say things without using any logic, mathmatics, or science to come to their conclusions. Then to top it off become hostile at others who do not also believe in their faulty assumptions.
.....they speak, they cheer and they hug contestants...... My how price is right has evolved lol Allowing models to touch contestants or cheer is a big no no in my opinion - and don't think it is such a good idea.
How does this make the guy a Plinko Master? I was expecting to see someone get every chip into the 10,000 slot. This guy is just another schmuck who got 1 chip to land in the middle. Big deal.
Models hugging contestants now and cheering for contestants and saying how cute they are silently - WOW ! Price Is right has changed lol ! What the hell are they feeding Drew, bird seeds ?????
Psshhh...Plinko-Master my ass. His shit was weak! You see how high and uncoordinated he dropped those chips... Sheeeet. Everyone knows you gotta drop it lower and a little to the right of the middle.
Dude. I can't believe this is the same Drew Carey that brought Whose Line is it Anyway to the US. He makes this show so BORING!!!!! It's amazing that the old guy makes it so much more exciting to watch
so true, and this coming from a fan of Drew Carey, just like Donna Reed on Dallas, not a good fit for this show. Even Bob Barker has said publicly he does not like him hosting.
Man the plinko master was cool why did I look up plinko you ask because my school is having a funfair and my class booth is plinko and I just wanted to no what it is peace:-)
If he's a master, why is he looking at the audience to figure out where to place the chip? I know there are other reasons he shows why he isn't, but I thought I'd only choose one.
He also had diabetes and was scared he wouldn't live to see his son graduate high school. I give him props for having the guts (pun intended) to lose all that weight.
Right? I thought this was going to be a clip of him getting $10K a bunch of times. Clearly, they define "mastery" of Plinco differently from the rest of us.
This is not a Plinko Master... A master would have gotten every price right *AND* walked away with $50k or whatever it is. This guy is HARDLY a Plinko Master....
I agree with you. People keep saying that he looked better when he was overweight, but to me, people always look better when they're healthy...including Drew.
Do you reckon anyone will ever manage to hit the top prize? Given the way the board is designed, I don't see that happening anytime soon unless someone extremely skilled in geometry tries their luck at it or something. I love Plinko and all, but almost 30 years and still no one has won the top prize? Come on now.
