As a foreigner in Poland back in first year of arrival(2019) was to dream of nice office job while doing food delivery for uber in corporate office buildings and now in 2024 working in the same office building on the top floor as an employee of that corporate company.
This is so inspiring! Great to hear ! Would've loved to meet you when i was travelling Poland last year! Drop me an Instagram message and we'll catch up soon!
Hi Joshua. your videos make so much sense and has a lot of positive vibes. Even though you just made 3 videos this year, there is so much learning and inspiration that I can take from that. Keep up the good work and thank you for sharing all the knowledge and motivation.
Hi Joshua, love your videos and congrats for 5K. A quick question, I got into ESCP Paris for MIM and as a fresher with just 2 internships to show as professional experience, would you recommend to pursue masters right now or wait a couple of years and get some experience ? (specially for someone interested in the consulting field)
The consulting field with need quick mental math, critical reasoning and fluent french. If you can bring that to the table now, don't waste time. Else take a year off to build it and then apply. Remember the MiM is not for people with lots of experience. This may break your candidature. Good luck!
That fire kind of animation that came up in between reminded me of my stomach after Andhra meals 😜 Just kidding, nice video. I think luxury for one maybe necessity for someone else. For me, an expensive camera is luxury. I don't need it. I'm okay with taking photos on my phone. But for you, camera is a necessity.
Omg... I could relate so much with this video.. especially to not to afford certain things to only afford bigger things makes so much sense.. I've been practicing that ever since I bagged my first job in Paris. Thanks for making such relatable content!
Glad you found it relatable ✨ There's this like by Zakir khan that comes to mind Aapko aaj ye kameez chie, dunia aisi hai na Saab ki aaj to aapko harkiz nai milni wo kameez Kal jaa kar malum padta hai ki wo kameez utni zaroorat thi bhi nahi, ki aapke ke lie us se shaandaar suit intezar kr rha tha
Congratulations on the 5k, Joshua! I'm delighted that more and more people have found your channel now! This proves that it's not the number of videos that matter, it's what you say in them!
Interesting to come back to this definition of luxury & to have to think about it. I tend to associate luxury to something shallow that I don't need, meaning I only use it a few times. If I pay the same price for it but uses the product or the service a lot, it means that I had a real need for it so it doesn't feel like "luxury" anymore. But I realize that when it's not something physical that I can keep & more an experience (like a trip), it's harder to put the money on the table because I feel like I don't really need it. Which means I never travel... Thank you Josh, on my way to rethink my relationship to money 🤔😀
Interesting perspective Florine, I do agree with your definition too, investing in sth you barely use sounds very luxurious. As a foreigner, travelling incited me to change my mind but I don’t travel that much now that I’m in Europe either!
