Just yesterday I bought a 2008 cvpi with 67800 miles & 3000+ hours for $550. Former Las Vegas metro PD car. Was B/W, then painted all white at some point other than the paint & light bar holes it is perfectly straight. It runs strong, all maintenance items look good, interior is all there but it’s a filthy disaster. It’s my second CVPI, I also have a 2007 cvpi (former fire inspector car) in gold with the plush full interior that I drive more than my 2017 f250.
Crown Victoria PI are selling for much more now. IN 2017 I bought a 2009 CV PI for $2300 in the US, car came from California 103,000 miles and only 1124 idle hours, in good shape. Since Covid, and the car shortage people began taking interest in the Crown Vic, before there was little or no interest, hence the price was cheap, relatively. Great cars and folks are finally realizing that.
A good one in that condition Goes for 8 or 9k down here in Tennessee. I have an 09 in the same condition as the grey one and I'm gonna drive it til I die. I would rather do the maintenance and replace the engine when it needs it than have car payments.
I just bought a P71 with 73k miles and 3000 idle hours from Washington State Police. I paid $8k USD. I didn’t really want to do it but I did anyway. Lol Prices on these things are going up.
If you pull the carpet back from the sides of the trunk you might find the front door bumper guards jammed between the rear quarter panel. That's where I found mine.
I love my Crown Victoria P71 more than my Wife. She never lets me down. I thinking about divorce my wife and just me N my Crown Victoria. Bury me in A Crown Victoria.
I bought an 09 oreo for $8500 a few weeks ago. 79,000miles with 6000 idle hours. The "market value" was 12k, but was able to negotiate down on it. I was hoping the prices would drop but they just keep climbing. I figured to bite the bullet before they get unobtainable. To be fair, my car is in almost perfect condition and runs beautifully, however the prices are getting ridiculous for 13+ year old abused cars.
Wow, $8500 for an 09 with 79K(low miles) and 6000 idle hours (relatively high), better be perfect condition for that price, seems a little high to me. Do you live in a expensive state, like California or something?
@@timothyfay1209 I live in Texas. Other cars with higher miles are still going for $6500+. It seems like any vic in good shape below 100,000 miles are marked up heavily now. My car is in excellent condition. Looking at the carfax, all maintenance and issues were resolved according to specs and schedule. I've test driven similar Crown Vics with similar miles and this car, for whatever reason, seems more powerful and healthier than those.
