The Caballo Mountains have a long legendary history. They are situated along the Jornada del Muerto section of the old Spanish Colonial Camino Real. Stories abound of treasures, bandits, caves, and other high strangeness in these mountains. Spread throughout the mountain are a large number of megalithic and near-megalithic marker-type constructions/modifications/placements. Most are in very rugged parts of the mountain, and none are to be mistaken for easily distinguished survey monuments or modern mining claim markers. This video shows a little drone recon of some of the cave openings in the mountain situated near large markers. The cave seems to have a heart-shaped rock in it's entrance, and at least one other feature of the rock face nearby is also suspicious. It is not possible to fly the drone from a long distance in this area due to flight rules, so this footage had to be obtained by hiking clear to the base of the cliffs. Let me know in the comments if you spot anything interesting - that's why I posted most of the entire footage length.
