At almost 17, I'd like to believe that it's more than just obedience or even respect, it's also the realization that I truly do know what im doing. My ego is flying high though because I also know she kjo2s what she's doing, and she makes me look like a much better teacher than I am 🤣
I'm glad you put a video of making these. I've been thinking of making different yard art and art type things out of metal. I made a rod bender for smaller diameter rebar and rod iron to build yard art bugs. I'm looking for some free scrap metal to build a planishing hammer to further along my "teaching myself" how to fabricate and work with metal. I look forward to your videos. Also its good seeing you work with your daughter. Maybe someday my kids would want to create things out of metal or work on cars. They couldn't care less right now as they are still young lol.
They come around. Then go. Then come around again. All my kids have been both excited to build stuff, and annoyed I want to. Sure am having a blast right now though.
If I ever had a true mini myself, it is her. Much to the disappointment of several people, other than a chromosome, she is absolutely a much younger version of me, and I have never had such amazing h chemistry working with someone. She is probably more excited than even me to teach, which is saying a lot. I wish I could film it, but I can guarantee, it will not be a single performance. We'll be back for an encore 😎
I'll admit I am getting anxious to see some more work on the cars but it seems that everything you throw at us in these videos manages to capture my interest. I loved this one and I'm sure the memories made will last forever. I bet those classes will be a big hit with everyone involved as well. I'm glad you are getting back into the swing of things and thank you for continuing to share these videos with us.
I swear the car will be front and center right away. I'm probably more anxious than anyone right now. But I'll be filming some stuff on it quite a bit in upcoming weeks 😎
🤣🤣🤣🤣 As much as I'm laughing. I have to tell you, it's truly a struggle. The "large" one size fits all, do not fit. I have a XXL to XXXL hand. I can sometimes wear a large, or XL but it's never right. And this video the emphasize was heavily on safety and responsibility, which even she said......are you serious....I didn't even do this when I was 4 . Proper gloves specifically for her are on my list. As soon as I can, hopefully shortly after the classes we are jointly teaching
Jade definitely needs a couple pair of proper sized lamb/kid gloves, those gloves are a major handicap. Most people can't / hate using gloves at all with detail work. It's a big deal with detail work. That is certainly, learning the hard way. It also looks like she might be a lefty, forcing herself to work righty.
