I bought this game used at a game stop for about 10 dollars in the mid 2010s. I really enjoyed playing the game because it made me feel calm and like I was progressing without too much stress. Very few pits, difficult to die, pretty nice music. However... One time when I was playing, (and at that point, the game had gotten quite old), the bottom screen glitched out. Peach looked horrifying. I don't remember what it looked like but I think maybe she was split in two? And the audio became incredibly glitchy and scary as well. I couldn't press anything or continue and had to restart the DS. I was honestly scared at that point but everything worked fine after that. To this day, when I think about replaying it, I end up avoiding it because I'm still a little bit scared of that glitch happening again. Felt like I was in a creepy pasta.

That Super Peach game was actually fun my little sister didn't want it so I took it and played, it was so far the best game peach was ever in besides Smash Bros and Mario Party

It's actually a fun game to play. I actually happen to own a copy. Maybe it's just me but I enjoy finding things, puzzles and I enjoyed the concept of weaponizing emotions (heck as a women I thought it was fitting, women for centuries have used emotions for their benefit), so for peach to literally be in such control of them she can gain powers is awesome. although I had a hard time finding one toad for months. Plus the stages were like you said a bit easy. Except for that one damn toad.

I'm not gonna lie, as a kid me and my sister both had a DS and she had this game and every now and then I'd sneak it into my room and try to play it as fast as I could over night and when I couldn't beat it I'd delete the file to make it seem like nothing changed so it didn't seem like someone else had played it cause I didn't want to get caught playing a "girl game"

Omg I love this game, I played it so often, it's one of my favorite games on the whole planet. I actually like the concept and levels more than any other Mario 2d platformer because it's so unique und fun. The music, the level design, the little riddles, finding toads, leveling peaches or the umbrellas abilities up and becoming stronger, having real and unique end bosses at the end of a world that challenge you to really think about how to use peach's emotions and abilities, it's just great. I would love a remake of this game so more people know about it.

Honestly, I really like this game. I found it to be fun and challenging. I'm kind of a completionist, so I didn't mind having to fly around the stages picking up shit and filling up the glossary. :) When it comes to level design, I found the level parts to fit the current world instead of confining different elements to different stages. I agree on the overuse of pipes and doors though, there are quite a lot of those! But the Peach on the bottom screen gives you a visual cue on whether there are collectibles in your current room or not, so that helps. I really love your videos btw! They're very entertaining and your spot on editing makes for some memorable moments that me and my friends refer to. Hearing your opinions on Super Princess Peach, I would love to hear what you think about Wario: Master of Disguise. It's an often overlooked game that many thinks of as "bad" and "poorly designed". Still, I really like that game as well. Regardless of whether it would be for a video or private use, you should definitely check it out! :)

Super Princess Peach was an amazing game. Since this game is an outlier in the Mario series, Nintendo should seriously give other characters like Waluigi their own game in a treatment similar to this one. (This Comment was made before watching the video)

You ruined my childhood *Yaaaaayyy* But honestly you can have your own opinion but some of your criticisms were pretty weak. -you complained that you need all toads to beat the game and that would be a valid point if it wasn't for the fact the It's not that hard to find them all without a guide -I found the lack of consistency a good thing, in a newer game it would definitely be a problem but in a DS game I found it helping the levels feel more varied compared to a lot of the NSMB series, and it help make the levels feel less boring Overall this didn't seem like a very good review especially since you glossed over some of my favourite parts of the game. It seems our opinions differ a lot but I think your opinion on the game put a large personal bias on your review.

I played this when In was six, and my wide eyed uncoordinated six-year old self loved it. I'm glad it was easy, because I was dumb. Admittedly, most of my love for this game is due to nostalgia. Sure the graphics aren't stunning, the story isn't Zelda levels of amazing, but it was my childhood. The same reasons I like the Star Wars prequels. The writing was...yeah, but it makes me all warm and fuzzy. AND DONT PRETEND 'LOVE ACROSS THE STARS' ISN'T A BOP
