I'm researching what to do with my 1978 split level house in windy Kansas that has summer and winter extremes of 105+ to 0 degrees minus, plus wind chill. House has two attics that each have 3 box vents and no soffit or gable vents. I've been air sealing in the attic and it's clear there is not enough ventilation, but I've been told that's by design here due to sustained high winds at times. Attic has quite a bit of cellulose insulation that makes working up there harder, and I'm not sure I can get out to the eaves from the inside. I need some guidance on doing this. One suggestion is that you held up your company logo on your shirt, but it's flipped mirror image which makes me feel dyslexic trying to read it. Kind of a pet peeve of mine because I see that in so many videos.
