I did nearly 5 single years and it was the best thing I ever did. You end up knowing what you want and when someone does come along, it's so special

I did 3 years of being single and it was the best time of my life. I learned so much about me, what I want and what I need. Then met a guy, that is still my friend, but we split up after 1 1/2 years. Then I did another year of being single and then I met my now husband. With him it was so natural from the beginning, not awkward at all. But I am still so happy I did the time consciously being single.

I did 30 years single 😮…..went to a picnic and met my husband. He looked across the table and said he was going to marry me! I laughed and stuck my nose in the air…..❤.

I'm single for the first time in 20 years (not dating but being in long-term relationships) and I've learned I'm stronger than I thought and able to do lots of stuff on my own (like travelling and house work). It took a while to readjust and heal, but I'm lucky to have my family and a few great friends, so now I can say I'm okay. I'm just trying to get past my impossibility to talk to strangers and go to therapy, since these last 2 years have been quite difficult. And in case anyone is going through a hard time, break-up and heartache, please know it will eventually get better - just hang in there 🤗.

I am single and loving it. I will not get into another relationship until I meet someone really special. I am working on surrounding myself with good people and positive energy and being grateful for what I have. Life is too short to worry and time and our health are invaluable.

I was literally obsessed with episode 3. It was like a stand alone biopic of the rise of Mohammed Al Fayed. Such a good watch. My boyfriend isn't into the crown, but I told him just to watch Ep 3. So so good! Loved the vlog...and loving the podcast too xx

Chariots of Fire is my fav movie too. I was a runner (sprinter) from the age of 10 through college and saw it in the theater (I’m old) when it was released and I found it so incredibly inspirational in so many ways and I had NO idea who financed the film until I watched that episode of The Crown! OMG! You are so enjoyable to watch and I always love your makeup and hair and seeing members of your family - so cute! 🥰

Episode 3 had me in tears. I knew everything about Mr. Al-Fayed but I have never heard about Mr. Johnson. I spent this weekend binging The Crown and episode 3 was my favourite. The Al-Fayad’s names appear in the credits of Chariots of Fire but I’m also a film buff so I read everything 😅😊

i love astier de villate incenses.they are just so different and special! i was first introduced to this incense with "atelier de balthus", then i bought: "namche bazar", "aoyama", and recently "oulan bator"! i love them all, but if i had to pick my favourite, it would be "atelier de balthus". i have an incence holder - sometimes i use it, and sometimes i just place the incence in the soil of one of my indoor plants and just leave it!

Love the home decor haul! Mohamed Al-Fayed is an interesting rabbit hole that I fell down while looking at a Chateau for sale in France a couple of years ago.. Mohamed took on the lease and restoration of Villa Windsor in France that once was home to Edward and Wallace Simpson after Edward abdicated. It’s a beautiful villa. The restoration unearthed a sealed bath tub full of previously unseen photos that he turned into a book apparently. I think it’s lovely that he set about doing the restoration on the Villa 😊

i stick my incense in my candle! it'll catch the ashes you can easily toss after. plus when you light your candle the melted wax basically fills in the hole the incense left behind.

But what I would like to say is that you come across as a sane, happy woman, at this stage in your life……..social norms keep changing, and it can be a challenge, I feel it too, butvI am older and it doesn’t really effect me. But my daughter is 43, never married, she’s had half a dozen boyfriends, she now prefers her own company for the most part……..so there’s that…..
