Thank you for your most prophetic word. I went to a church many years ago where the congregation allowed themselves to become very aroused by "the Holy Spirit", dancing and moving about. I became very ill while in this congregation and realized that these this had done nothing to increase my closeness with God or to walk in deeper faith. It took me a long time to get over it.

Hey elder Whinfield, it’s good to hear from you. It’s been a while I have not heard from you. I hope you are doing well! Hmm! You’re touching a very serious issue in our church. I live in NYC and to be frank with y’all, I left my praise team because of all these things. Some didn’t take it well when I left and stopped singing with them but I didn’t care, especially when I knew what sister White had predicted about what’s happening in our churches that you rightly quoted. I always remember Maranatha p.234. I am a choir master myself. I wanted to promote these types of smooth singing that you showed here, but they didn’t want that. Even my church pastor never valued choir because he bluntly told me that he doesn’t feel himself in choir stuff. That sums it all. Anyway, you are right on point my dear brother. Amem, ones mind cannot be centered on God in the sanctuary with all the commotion. Our minds are to be elevated to God not detracted from him in the sanctuary.

I remember back in early 1960's when the Catholic church brought in folk music which then went to drums etc. Even I as a child wondered what was happening.

Never judge anyone's praise. Sometimes when I think of the goodness of Jesus I can't control my praise. You hear me shouting in my car on my way to work. You would think a large host people was with me. I shout God's praise in a church and out of church and dance anywhere to Express my joy if I can't control His joy
