Coming from someone who mods/and works with coding on multiple games; These games being: Halo wars 1 & 2, Total war Warhammer saga, Minecraft and Skyrim. I can tell you messin with games alone even from the early eras are hard as hell to code, and mess with alone. Soi give Chicken and the dev team massive props for still working so hard.

Honestly as a simple guy, I play simple games so typically whether or not someone else hates or critics games. I'll try it out and learn the game is just supposed to be fun like Dinosaur Simulator. Who knows maybe I'll make a video on why I don't choose to judge games.

I have a question i have the avi and i realy like the ripper skin but it cost 58k and the regular avi is stronger, i dont want the skin to be better than the regular dino but just the same. So when the avi gonna have the buff does the skin gonna be same as the regular or it will stay weaker than the regular ? (to know if i buy him or not).

I feel like skins just affecting the aoe and hitbox but not the base range of the dino would make them easier to balance in general, in the end skins are supposed to be a cosmetic that enchances the visual appeal of said dino, not make it the juggernaut that destroys half the roster

I agree with a lot in this vid, except for the cycling that you keep mentioning. I personally find it very hectic to keep swapping and cycling hitboxes.

Tbh being limited doesnt mean "its good in all aspect" I see limited skins and dinos as good collection Im not rlly into pvp but having your fave dinos with their fave skins is rlly are pleasant

I just hope they dont ruin the game or like,not go overboard with it,not make it as similar to DA,ik news abt the new ui,i dont mind the recode,but i hope they keep it simple

The range doesn’t work when you’re a new player and doesn’t understand stand range you’re done for and probably won’t play the game ever again

hopefully some devs would see this and it would encorage them to work even extra hard because ds is an actual good game if u think abt it all the skins and all that and only 1k+ actives evry day but this game is being work on a lot rn so hopefully we can see the game grow

What I want on ds is to make then a close range combat. Literally what kind of dinosaurs that bites you miles away, while you can't bite them. I just want a cqc combat so this can be more realistic.

Avi is absolutely horrid rn, tbh idgaf if it gets a buff or not i just want a refund because i grinded my ass off for that. I have every "rare" limited skin including pitch wraith and wraith and tbh hybrids are in a sucky place rn, they are shit, you could literally lose an albino to 2 adult rexes. not even elder ones.

definitely disagree on price and worth on Avi. It’s logical for players who are serious to earn something good and be consistent compared to new players who has rex unlocked already. It should be fair to have rex/spino near (as equal) to avi level then downgrade avi because 200k is a lot of time on that game but im glad its getting buff 5:45

All facts & addressing the hybrids being weaker than cheeper creatures thought process *needs to stop* apexes shouldn’t be this thing that’s easily dominated by a hybrid. let’s take avi for example: the largest things in Avis dna is carnotaurus & baryonyx & even in its concept was supposed to be slightly smaller than a albino terror with a very lightweight build (even seen with how slender its body is in the art) realistically avinychus wouldn’t even stand a chance against something like a acrocanthosaurus who’s massively robust in its build & yet the stat team were still kind enough to allow avi to beat it quite easily by bleeding out acro to death & yet people want this thing to be a literal sauropod slayer because it’s a hybrid this wouldn’t be fair to newer players or the general population out there who aren’t hybrid crazy there need to be a middle ground that’s fair for them as well, this is all I have to say about this topic.. *also day 8 on asking for tyrannotitan meta mysteries*

Nah I grinded 200k and lost the live o had for the game while doing so… I need the avi to be good, like really good.

1. I got your point but i agree that DS was abandoned for long time and for now still buggy af and need a recode asap. Ok, chicken is now back updating and focusing on it, its great, but most of the points were valid bc the game was abandoned and people have their reason to complain. 2. About ranges and stats, i like the system but its just dumb how sauropods are strong as hell now, they have much better stats and insane range compared to other creatures, it should be nerfed. Imo i prefer the stats back then, when u didn't take 2days to kill someone and bleed wasnt smth so overpowered, and Aviny needs a buff but i dont think 1600hp and 135 dmg is enough, its nearly nothing(its 200k and u barely use it atm bc its fking crap, i mean after remodel its range is decent, but still). 3. 20:20 I'm sorry but i have to agree with them, it seems like the devs hated the game for a while, i can't believe its because people trash talking about the game bc they literally left the game alone, they abandoned it for years. The hate stated right after the game dies, everyone is happy now since its back to update and get some attention after ages. I know its hard to develop a game, but they literally abandoned, they weren't even trying. 4. I didn't like DA, it was laggy for me for some reason so i won't talk about it bc wasn't my game taste but i agree i'd prefer 100x DS2 than DA (for what i experieced of it) MY final conclusions: I played this game for years(since 2016) and i can agree with both sides. Im not really into the devstreams but i hope they find a way to fix the game economy, because exploiters fucked it up, and whatever skin come out to the game its value gonna be crap, new players have no chance to start trading and get the old skins too. I'm really happy that this game is back to update and at least once a week i play this with my old friends and have some fun pvping on public servers. Also, i don't the guy from the video was intended to hate the devs(i know he kinda did, but i dont think it was the point), and imo the community has to show up their points and criticize the game. One thing that i actually hated from new "updates" is the 10 finalists on hybrid contest, they choose hybrids that weren't at actual top10 that people wanted. Its completly unfair for the people who draw it and for the people who voted on it. Ngl i didn't rlly like of any options we got on top10, most of them are low criativity and are just sauropod with spikes, or sauropod with wings or even obese diplocaulus. I dont agree with avi not being stronger than rex only because avi is harder to grow due to avi being 1.3 and rex being 1 growth rate Lastly all skins for their respected creature should have the sane range as every skin for that creature(example solar bringer megavore should have the same range as star destroyer megavore) theres no reason for skins to have more or less range than normal, same thing with the hitbox it should all be the same

Era of Terror died manly because of combat. You grow and then you just run into each other while avoiding dammage... but sometimes you cant run away or fight off the enemy. Dinosaur Arcade had the same problem, cards made combat more fun but if someone had a friend and you were alone you had no chance of winning. Dinosaur Arcade you can play Utahraptor and still win against Tyrannosaurus if you're good enough. As for people making fun of u for logging... people make fun of each other in EVERY game for the DUMBEST of reasons.

lets be real, in everygame the veterans have always been better instead of ds, the veterans should be better then the newbies

Hes correct hybrids must powerful than any normal dinosaur cause its coming from the word itself its hybrid they skilled more than normal dinos probably need 2 dino to defeat 1 hybrid and its not problem

G, it takes how long? 2 weeks of AFK farming 12+ hours a day, and what? an entire week of 24hr afk grinding? so basically leaving your pc running at a constant on the game day in and day out just to get avi. Bro if you think 100-200k dna currently, with the current dna system is not a lot? You spend too much time on the game. EVEN if you no life its going to take WEEKS to get ANYWHERE. Even getting just 25-60k dna is quite the grind just by playing the game. You wanna know what the best part is? You cant even play your favorite dinos while grinding DNA, you are severely limited by what makes the most DNA. DNA gain right now is absolutely atrocious, and if the game is to grow it NEEDS to change. The game almost feels like it punishes you for playing. Is a LONG ASS TIME, to get a single thing. Bro in most games the grind doesn't even last 2 or 3 days to get a single object. You know what you could be doing in 2 weeks? You say it like its no biggie but that's a big problem! Ive seen whole games rise and fall in 2 weeks. That's 168 hours in total needed to get avi. People dont even reach that many hours playing a whole game. bro ive beaten ELDEN RING 3-4 times and I have 106 hours on that game. So me beating elden ring 3-4 times isnt even enough in the slightest to get 1 avi, in a Roblox game. That's absolutely insane. The video was good until you said 1-200k dna was not a lot of dna. You seriously dont understand what a good grinding rate looks like if you think this way about avis price.

one thing that annoys me is that everbody complains about avi- which is reasonable but theres things that need more attention and scylla is a prime example of it literally it can die to almost anything INCLUDING free dinosaurs and for 100k dna that whole time.. all that grind for something that isnt even good- at least avi can do something what about scylla? what about the other mayhems (excluding tripod) if ur not gonna make them worth it dont overprice them

I really REALLY hate logging in most situations. I hate how so many people can go on a killing rampage and just log in combat at green health and still be elder, it should atleast bring you to adult or smth.
