What I basically said is that I can still call myself a boy and he's the type of ''guy'' that would rather castrate himself then turning bald. He's spamming finasteride everywhere whilst finasteride nukes a bunch of androgens and neurosteroids of completely unknown importance. I did my daily research for months on this drug. But if you'd rather be an insecure bitch, dismissing all side effects of it and pop it like an asperin be my guest.

You're so right about the "not responding great to medication at an early age" I'm 18 my hairloss started at 17 and I've been on Dutasteride for a couple of months now and more hair is still thinning it's not even stabilising .

If you get desperate go to turkey where they don't do this bullshit and be sure to take finasteride. I got fed-up with western doctors in America spouting this and have been able to keep my hair with a transplant for 12 years and still going strong from age 22-39.

Jakub there is already a cure for hair loss (specifically MPB). It works, it's free, it's natural and no drugs are required. But you have to be disciplined. Get the book The Baldness Cure (1994) by A.Bryant. If you look around you might be able to find a free pdf download.

If you’re willing to put in the time, you can deem a needle, and rub minoxidil on your face for two years or so. It makes a huge difference and can make you go from a baby face to a good beard

Finasteride generally has shed-cycles associated with it. If it's indeed the case and not something else that is causing the hair to fall, then you don't need to worry as the hairs will grow back stronger.

Foam minoxidil is definitely easier on the scalp. It doesn't have propylene glycol, which is the inactive ingredient in liquid minoxidil that gives people dryness and irritation.

My son just had a FUT 3 weeks ago...he is 26...So far transplanted hair look good no shedding yet as we were told the transplanted hair will fall in the first 3 months then grow again...praying it goes well...no meds yet as worried about sperm count for the future of having kids

@@tagada7 Thank you so much for your answer. I have tried probably every treatment under the sun for my vitiligo, nothing has worked to repigment but it’s stable now due to Phototherapy. Hopefully it stopes spreading and we have a better treatment in the future.

Speak to your doctor from who you got finasteride from.

Aahlad Kethineedi who gives a shit if you piss her off. it’s your life not hers. go back to 0.25 with no sides and enjoy your current hair. if you research properly there’s a very small difference in terms of efficacy between 0.25 and 0.5 so you should be fine

What and how Severe sides? If not to bad try keeping it for about 3 months and see if they go away. If not. Try to lose it to 0.4 if still sides 0.25 and see after a year how effective fin is on you.

I use finasterid for 16month. My hair gets thicker but I loose too much every day, so I think I get bald longterm even with finasterid.

How many grafts? Did the transplanted hairs remained? Have you think about bear hairs or chest hairs?

Generally only your cells can be accepted by your body. If you want someone else to give you their hair you have to take medicines everyday called an immunosuppresant

I'm on finasteride and Minoxidil but the fact that we have to buy this things for all the time we want to keep our hair, that is just not worth it I think. And if we keep getting the medication for long term the higher the risk of getting side effects so I might as well see what happens at 1 year and after that just put in some balls and shave my head. Because we just lie ourselves and say that we wanna keep our hair because we want to look good but deep down we just don't want other people to judge us because it doesn't look normal specially at a young age.

You will still lose hair if you don't take fin. Just take it, 2% chance of sides. Love the stuff, saves my hair for decades to come

@@tagada7 I disagree for me finasteride for sure affect both my beard and my chest hair. Also there is no real studies to prove that those types of DHT does not affect beard etc. Both times I paused my finasteride use. My beard and chest hair got thicker. Also I got more oily facial skin.

Life might throw medical conditions at you such as diabetes or blood pressure, you need to make sure it won't require too much maintenance, it won't be possible in later years, and the payback time will come if you do rush.

I consider a hair transplant in like 10 years. I‘m 23 and have Norwood 2 but I have NW2 for like 6/7 years now without any noticeable hair loss.

I think it's because people's immune systems reject tissues that they don't recognize. It's OK when it's your own hair being transplanted, but someone else's hair would probably be rejected by your immune system. I'm not a doctor, but I would expect the transplanted hair to fall out.

Why are you worried if you are in finasteride? Did you use it some years before the transplant to know you are a good responder?

i think your hair must have been stabilized by now, so no worries!

Also if you do end up losing some hair you can just keep it short and go with some micro pigmentation to fill in the spots, it will still look natural with both procedures
