And there’s the fact that people usually host parties and stuff for ufc so you can have up to however many people watching ufc that they might have still not paid for, so yeah nobody

Last Diaz last boxing fight sucked. Looked like he didn't prepare for one minute. Masvidal talked so much smack before his last fight, proclaiming he's going to annihilate his opponent. He said to "Bet the house!" In Las Vegas. And his fight sucked too. Good thing I didn't listen to him. I'd be sleeping on the street right now. Felt like he suckered us all into watching his fight so he can get paid big and ride into the sunset. Turn me off to him and I was a fan. Who in the right mind wants to watch these two box?? Sometimes it's fun to watch a train wreck just because it's a train wreck. This just sounds stupid.
Nate had a pinched nerve, a serious injury before that Jake Paul boxing match. The Diaz brothers are too tough for their own good. They never back out of a fight, even though both of them should have pulled out due to similar serious injuries
If its 8 weeks till then. Didnt you always compliment floyd for doing that time frame? I personally think whats killing this fight is that neither one have any momentum of any kind. They finally hit the point of where the outcome of the last fight matters.
i will never buy a boxing ppv or even watch a free boxing event. I think it's hard to justify paying for these kinds of fights. The only sport I watch is MMA, so dispite being a fan of both nate and masvidal , them boxing doesnt interest me. If the fight was $5 and i could only watch those two fight, i probably would , but im not paying $30-60 to watch just one fight and since i dont watch boxing , every other fight on the card doesnt interest me at all to make it worth buying
Nate and Chael are my two favorite UFC fighters of all time. Having said that, I would pay to listen/watch Uncle Chael’s take on this fight before I would pay to watch Diaz/Jorge in boxing…

People will watch this fight, but that doesn't necessarily mean that the viewer will press the 'buy' button on PPV. You can tune in by sailing the high seas without financially supporting the event.
I dont know why guys think because we love them for one thing were gonna follow them over to another. We love MJ and chuck barkley, we dont watch them play golf. Love tiger woods, not gonna watch him do a swim meet.

I agree this boxing match is lame. BUT, I have a hunch that if you did a poll that said "Do you plan to buy ANY UFC PPVs this year" you'd get similar results.
I said this on another post but it is worth repeating these are basically push polls until he does a poll about an actual ufc event these polls are meaningless to me . Get a baseline ask the generic question how many of you pay for ufc ppv. Until that happens these polls are just mcguffins for chael to opine on what a bad idead these matches are

What if he tried to get a fight with ufc but nothing could be done, he may even have tried to get a 5 round fight with Masvidal or Dustin but ufc said no, and since he has nothing else to do and Masvidal's side got clearance to box, they reached out and said hey we can box instead? Chael is so full of sh🎉t and against fighters making money outside of UFC. In all fairness, he works for espn so his leash is probably red. Chael has been quoted saying 5 weeks ahead of the DDay is the ideal time frame to announce a fight. There is enough time and there actually is a story. For the story, Diaz never admited defeat. Masvidal is a natural in fight promotion. All the event organizers need to do is advertise the event.

The problem with Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal was that Masvidal was a FreeMason before Nate also sold out and became FreeMason. Mazvidal was winded and Nate would have stomped his @$$ in the 5th round if the paid off DR didn't call the fight off. Now, we have Chael try to talk sh!t...
