You’re right, simple. Carrying means ball hog. You’re always in the wrong as a guard. Most of the community can’t even play pg well enough to win. Another thing, the randoms that sell on purpose but don’t get kicked 😂. You can have 25 points but grade out cause you got plucked too many times.
I’m immune to it because I’ve been playing 2k since the oldest damn 2k. 2k14 changed everything, and 2k15 park and rec started the whole wave. You just have to EXPECT 90% of the “randoms” you get matched up with, will be BRAIN DEAD. Either kids, or just low IQ clowns who plays Rec or Park like they’re playing Offline My Career on Rookie. I just don’t even get mad anymore. I expect it
As a pg in random rec, i start out just as a facilitator. At least the 1st quarter. I just look to pass and get guys open shots. I know i can score no problem. But to get guys to get shots so they wont complain. Then I get my shots in later. And i get on the mic and try to be encouraging lol. I'll be like good shot my guy lol. Even if they bricking. Btw i average 20 pts 10 assists shooting 65% from three...
I try to do that but it’s hard to catch back up when they finally start giving me the ball but I’ll keep trying cuz sometimes I do find a goated random squad
I disagree that the state of the game is all on the devs. Many of the changes introduced were requested by 2k players for years, such as solo and squad rec. If anything, I've seen more changes requested by the community that were implemented this year, than the previous 2ks. The most recent patch to shooting has also been to the benefit of the players, in the long term. We not only got a shooting buff, but also latency was addressed. It sucks that it made us have to relearn our jumper, but after the adjustment period, it's a welcome change ( at least to me ). That being said, everything is not perfect. Like I agree with you on the ghost contests. I enjoy this 2k. I think many people who are getting off the game were honestly burnt out from the game and needed a break from the yearly cycle anyway. Maybe a short break will fix the attitudes of those folks and help clear their heads lol.
Yea I agree that it’s not all on the devs, but I also think that lying to the people that play your game or not providing us with what they actually changed with the game is actually terrible for any game developer to do. I’m really not mad that they’re changing stuff I just want them to go more In depth about what they change
I got kicked yesterday for having a bad grade and for fouling alot 💀💀💀 after learning more, i managed to come across a good game but had to deal with selling out flopping bafoonery teammates smh
I agree with everything he saying no one ask Mike Wayne to fix shooting and fix stealing in the game and take ghost contests out also stop helping the these high ego players that are bums at 2k
The problem with 2k is everybody thinks that they are better than everyone else, that’s basketball in general. It’s hard to play with anyone who won’t move the ball even to an open shooter because they’d rather behind the back and pull a 3 which is okay when it works but it’s so easy to shut down. It’s even worse watching the other team start off just like yours and take the opposite approach and move the ball around and eventually an Alpha emerges naturally. Some guys want to force themselves into the #1 spot as it usually results in a loss. The worst part about running PG in Rec is that literally everyone thinks they should be the primary ball handler. Better not get a TO trying to make a pass to them either or you’ll never get the ball again.
All these problems go away if they made online separate from my career remove the badges, remove the overalls and all those attributes you have to level up just make it based on a build if you pick a shooting build then all you can do is shoot if you pick a play making build all you can do is play mate if you pick a finishing build, all you can do is finish just like NBA street volume two And all your defensive attributes are based on how tall and how fast your builders, and how much he weighs
Man I'd want to have a convo about this with you. There's a reason pgs dont understand why they blame you even tho your a pass 1st. Your right about alot of things but when you've been a Playmaker and 2nd option to score theres two Perspectives.
Yea I’ve played every position in this game and I have max builds I would be complaining if my guard was ball hogging and I was open but most of the time that’s not the case
Never before has rec with randoms been this unplayable and its the same randoms. I been saying they need to make no squads have a duo and three solos or some variation and high rec 4-5 peoplee only that way im not like going in with 2-3 ppl struggling for power with 2-3 ppl
What I say to these bums on the mic.Everyone wants the ball everyone wants to dribble but know one makes a PG build.Everyone wants to cut every single possession also it’s crazy
Or in squad Rec the other party goes into game chat to press you or your friend for missing like 3 shots and their boy is 0-8. The whole realism thing is wrong no matter how you slice it. People bring up realistic stats for steals but don’t talk about the unrealistic dribbling. NBA players don’t just spam the same 3 dribble moves and refuse to take open lane to get an ankle breaker. Behind the back spam and speed boost is also not realistic. 2k put a band aid on it by making steals easier. So what if I have gold glove/right stick ripper, how often should they succeed on ripping gold unpluckable?
@@ToxicKodo it really is but it definitely looks like the devs don’t care about the game that they just made they just put it out with bugs glitches and everything
