I love drums and Taiko drums are such a beautiful drums. Love the sounds, the tradition and the physical beauty of these drums. This is not my culture, I'm Australian but admire these drums so much!

I love that they have special gloves to protect their fingers during the peg and stitching process. Japan just cares about their workers safety

Beautiful craftsmanship. How do you re-tune the drums though? All drum skins eventually become looser.

Every time I watch these amazing skills and see the beautiful traditional products by Japanese artists i die a little inside at the thought of what my own country has become (Britain). We have become so diluted and our government has allowed other cultures to walk all over us.
