В процессе изготовления " экологически" чистого угля уничтожается за одну топку, кислорода выделяемого 10 га леса.Рабочие- убийцы экологии. Расстрелять всех.
Not just that but extreemly energy inefficient . The flamable gasses released from cooking the wood could feed an Internal Combustion engine driving an electrical generator , the hot exauast gases from the IC engine used to cook the wood. A plant with the amount of wood turnover in the video could generate a MegaWatt of electrical power worth $100/hr (@10cper kWhr)
@@oz93666It's actually really efficient, the Japanese have the same way of making white charcoal. And besides who's going to pay to make that contraption to catch the gasses and steam and also tar that comes off the fire? And then also turn it into a combustible gas for a generator which can't be any old generator and also who is going to pay for it all?. Just cause the by product is lost doesn't make it inefficient. Also you don't want all that heat going back into the enclosure cause you'll just end up burning the wood into dust and not into carbon.
@@oz93666 all combustion processes are inherently inefficient so no need to state the obvious. It's not worth wasting money on collecting wood gas because it has very little methane(the most useful fuel in the mix) that costs a lot to separate from the other contaminants.
In some countries, long woods are stacked on top of each other to form a conical structure. Then these woods are covered with soil. After the soil is closed in an airtight way, fire is sent into the woods from the top of the conical shape.Woods that burn for 1-2 days eventually turn into charcoal. Open top charcoal ready to be filled into sacks.
this process is not scientific. No any calculation and measurement. This is for the nations who have no carbons. better use solar batteries )))) lol Just pray for the better warm.
@@d.jensen5153 in the beginning indeed. BUT than coal was found in deep shaft mining and charcoal was not needed anymore. where the landowners, most of the time it was the aristocracy had some brains left and were not totally degenerated from all that inbreeding, the empty - forest - was reforestation.and after 50 or so years charcoal was a thing of the past. at least in my village were I grew up it was like that. a lot also was not reforestation and the open grassland was than used as cheap and - free - pasture during the few short summer month for the cattle and sheep from the valleys farmers. the grass from the valleys pastures could be -harvested- and dried as hay and used for winter fodder for their livestock. allowing the farmers to have more cattle as they would have had otherwise.
Skillcultz on RU-vid shows eco friendly charcoal making. You make a Trench and burn wood as coals appear you add more wood so the lower coals don’t turn to ash. It burns hotter but clean and it makes better charcoal to use in the soil. Charcoal made in a setup in tbr video maybe made at a lower temperature if so then it can’t absorb as much as charcoal made in higher heat. Charcoal made in mounds are better to cook with though since they retain more energy but not good to use in gardens. It depends what you use it for.
Extremely interesting. But this way is extremely expensive when it comes to making Charcoal. I usually make my wood Charcoals by digging a mini crater and covering the woods with green leafs and dirts once the Charcoal made I lightly ground and plow the land and prepare it to grow more trees to make more wood Charcoal and other type fruits since the Ashes and the mini wood Charcoal bit are use to make good fertilizers. That how we make them in Haiti.
We are finishing our planet slowly but surely to many trees cut everyday to man charcoal but less trees planted 😮 We really need to persevere all this indigenous tree.
So THAT'S how to make industrial scale charcoal. Awesome, thank you! Seems every other vid uses an externally heated retort ... figured that couldn't possibly be it.
it is too far from eco - friendly if all wood gas is going out by chimney to atmosphere... If in this factory all woodgas will be used formheating or as fuel for power generators, we can talk about eco - friendly production...
В детстве я делал ракеты на чёрном порохе. Нужен был древесный уголь. Брал жестяную коробку от монпасье, клал туда цепки, закрывал и - на газовую горелку на кухне. 5 минут и уголь был готов. Во времена были....
Gasification of agro based feedstock generates higher CO. Hydrogen can also be achieved under tightly controlled gasification parameters. They are doing medieval charification
Wow ,... Unbelievable , pretty damn long process , hard work counts , I wonder if the labour get enough wages for their living to make two ends meet , ... one hand all that hard work , .... the other hand we enjoy tandoori chicken or kababs sizzling hot on those wood coal ... I used to wonder ,....how do make these wood coal ,.... thanks for the video my friend ❤️👍.
1. All dried wood can make charcoal. However, if you need charcoal that needs higher firepower, it's better to make it into hard wood. 2.Block the entrance and keep it for about a week and observe the color of the smoke. If it went from murky white to blue white, most of the wood was burned and only charcoal was left.
