I love these videos where you can see how the old craft is still practiced. I hope that this will never be forgotten and that the old masters can pass it on to the next generation 🧡🙏
The job of making charcoal is because of light My eyes get worse quickly. So in Korea, The people who make charcoal That's what we call it. "The master of life" (숯을 만드는 직종은 빛 때문에 눈이 빨리 나빠진다고합니다.
Hi my friend, thank you very much your video shows everything I never known before, more I was watching more I appreciate everyone who was working hard and very hard worker 😍

The material of charcoal varies from province to province. According to the classic record, even pine trees can make charcoal. I made a record of that's why I wrote it. I know it's an oak tree now.
Very interesting video! I just ask myself why you don’t leave the glowing coal cool down in the kiln instead of opening it while still in flames and exposing the charcoal to oxygen until the lid is placed on the drum
Crazy shit! In Europe they have made charcoal for centuries without any enclosures in outdoor kilns just made up from stacked wood. This seems wasteful, odd and time consuming.
There is nothing crazy about the method shown in this video. If you stack wood alone the result is a pile of white ash. Charcoal making requires a low oxygen environment which is created by building a fire proof kiln above or below ground.
In Korea, the government prohibits cutting down trees. More than anything, even if you cut down a tree. Even if you do it, you need to plant it again. And everything about trees in the Forest Service. You don't have to worry about it. And the wood that goes into the charcoal... Most of them belong to mixed trees.
@@user-lq2uh2du7j There are four seasons in Europe as well. Point is, that european way was using single use kilns that were basically just a stack of wood covered with dirt that was let to burn through for about 2-7 days. These used natural draft only as there was no electricity
