I've been standing for my prodigal spouse for two years now. I have given him and our marriage to God long ago and I set out to put God first in my life and let God be my husband(as the bible says) at this time. This message is so powerful and amazing! Why is this never addressed in church!? Why is standing for your marriage and real issues in marriage never talked about in church?! Spot on. God has purged and cleansed me of things I didn’t even know where there. I’m so so thankful. I cried all day for about 6 months straight to the point I thought something was mentally wrong with me, God was cleansing me. I’m so glad these videos exist. I’m dealing with abandonment from my husband & our son is without his father. He’s been gone for over 8months with zero contact. He did say he was filing for a divorce in June telling me he was going to give me what I want. After I found out about this other woman he had just met. He’s not filed. My husband is a believer. So I really do feel like it’s just a matter of time. Time for me to heal and grow up & closer to God becoming the woman God has created me to be. Praying for all of our prodigal spouses & loved ones.
He's still with the other woman. Living in a hoarders house with her mom & boyfriend, He's not a father to our son with very little interaction or involvement or interest shown to be. He's gained a lot of weight and is unemployed. But the other woman keeps him in line and she's the best thing that ever happened to him. Our divorce went through 2 weeks ago. I'm tired. But I know God is good.

This is my story. My husband has walked away from our family and our marriage. On October he said he was not happy and asked for a divorce and left our home. He moved in with a younger girl he met at work. She is a counselor at the prison he worked at and counseled him to divorce me. He thinks the grass is greener. I'm reading the comments here...so many seem lost here and misquote or take out of context the Bible...seek the Lord while he may be found (isaiah 55:6-7) knock and the doors shall be opened ask and it shall be given (matthew 7:7)...all by His Grace and the Holy spirit...set your intentions on loving yourself more and not on the prodigal as they "may" never return (give them to God) seek God for whats next for you...read psalm 23 it helped me tremendously in my wilderness as I witnessed the lord cause me to lay down in green pastures and provided for me in abundance more than ever before...lastly my ex husband who I suspect to be a narcissist/bdp told me that biblically he could remarry but I could not and yes he is remarried and he has carried on as if me and our 3 sons never were. I have a prodigal spouse, but I've been one as well. Not in adultery with another person, as he does, but in being unloving and bitter, pushing him away. Once I let that wall of stone come down because of distrust and his adultery, I broke. I wanted to die! Then I remembered, God seems to allow me to go through this, to draw me to Himself! I've begun praying, reading, researching. I've hardly cried this past week. God is healing me. Now I can see with clarity what I should have done, would have done, if I'd followed God's plan. For 7yrs I have been living with a prodigal husband. Just last week God boldly told me to leave him so that he can deal with him without my interference because the situation was affecting my spiritual life,God has delivered me from the obsession of controlling him or trying to fix things. Immediately I made the decision to leave the peace of God just embraced in a way I couldn't have imagined. I am so happy, my sister even said to me "you have re-defined divorce for me. I have never seen someone going through separation looking so happy and positive" I have known for a long time that God wanted me to leave but I kept holding on it... Thank you for this my husband and I went into marriage wanting God in the center but he started cheating and we went to marriage counseling through the church. The second time was an emotional affair he left me and our 3kids to be with her. He also didn't want to follow Christ anymore cause he didn't want to be held accountable for his actions. His heart is definitely cold I tried to always save him but since he left I've stayed out the way cause I know it is spiritual and I don't want to get in the way with what he is trying to do.

When you are in the midst of it, sometimes all you can see is your own pain. It feels like you are in the middle of the storm and it's hard to determine what you are being hit with because it's coming from all angles. Perspective is like an anchor in the midst of that storm. I can't change the storm but I can feel secure and confident in knowing it will pass and I will not be lost in it. I still have to work on not responding from my pain but from truth. I am on the path to freedom and I've been given a promise for restoration. Until that day I'm working on loving unconditionally

My husband and i were doing great when he got out of prison in 2018. We remarried and being a kidney transplant recipient my function was that of a normal person. Everything was great. Then came the world, the temptation, a job other women money, friends. I was pushed to the side and he left me. Since then he’s returned and weve gotten back together 3 times. This last time he left me in April was the worst he completely broke my heart and I mean that literally. I may have possible, congestive heart failure, liver disease bc I have (extremely high levels of iron in my body)kidney failure yet again and was diagnosed with anxiety disorder. Please pray for me. I still want my my marriage restored.

This video was released 1 month after my husband and I separated. Now I'm watching Part 1, and everything this man said we should do during this season, I did; but also everything he said we SHOULDN'T do during this season, I did that too. I could have been saved from 11 months of torture had I seen this video then because even those who had walked with the Lord for some time, couldn't give me the simplest of answers like this man did on how to cope during this season. After I finally got it that it was about HIM, was when I realized how to fully surrender. I have been the most content ever since despite my circumstances. To God be the glory🙏! God revealed my ex husband’s deceit and infidelities. He’s narcissistic and completely disconnected from everyone who is Godly. He divorced me. He has many girlfriends now. A fake believer cannot "come back to Christ". If he was in Christ but left, then we should pray for him to return. If he was never in Christ but faked it, then that's another situation entirely. I used to say those things about my husband and God said no don’t do that. So whatever the devil has him doing I say the total opposite and the devil hates that. I was told by a therapist my husband was a narcissist. I researched it and fully agreed. But I felt God stirring to pray. Then I started coming across videos and articles about Jezebel spirit. After a lot of research i truly believe narcissism is an oppression from Jezebel. So i started praying to break the oppression. Maybe it is the case with your spouse, maybe not. Just food for thought, maybe it will help you.

WOW. This video describes my situation to the T! My husband and I have been separated for almost 6 months. He is under a serious demonic attack from the enemy. Infidelity, Illicit actions are leading us to divorce. God has told me things that I question, “Woah. Was that me talking or was it God?” I still love my husband but I firmly believe I have to move forward with my life so God can change and reveal things to me and so that God can reach my husband’s heart. And because of that, it puts the fear of God in me to walk in the light myself. I was captivated - in a good way of course - by every word in this video because it mirrored what I've been/am going through as I put my hope in Christ for the restoration of my marriage. At first, I did act in my flesh to no avail. I've learned to not to put my hope in her, but in Jesus Christ alone, and He has given me peace.

Believe me I'm not bragging or trying to make unnecessary comment here, this was what really happened to me. I have a broken relationship for 3years, but now I we are back together through his help. He can really help you as he helped me.

Most of the time the prodigal spouse is in Limerence. Its a sooo addicted Feeling, that they will do Things that they would never do, If they can think clear. But Limerence Always ends. And this is the Hope and Chance for a possibility of restoration

My prodical spouse has now left the house but he’s been battling and been out of the presence of God for a long time. God has opened my eyes to the reason behind God allowing these things with my spouse. I needed to learn to let go of my trust in man and trust only in GOD. That’s how he became truly Lord over my life. I needed a stronger relationship with Him and put my faith in Him, instead of man. I struggled with codependency and people pleasing (grew up Mormon and abuse). My husband is currently in prison and It’s been a very difficult season but I know God is working on the both of us apart so we will be where we need to be when he gets out. He’s told me since day one “I will protect you.” And that was before being cheated on 2x. I got mad at God but it wasnt until recently that I was learning something throughout all this too and that’s to let go of MAN and put my focus on Him. I’m so grateful and I know that God WILL restore my marriage. “What God brings together, let no man separate.” The devil has been trying to destroy it since we first met but I know that I know we were chosen for each other and there’s power in marriage and the oneness that happens. I refuse to let the enemy have a hold on us and our family anymore. God is for us, who can be against us!!! The weapons may be formed but they will not prosper!!! 🔥🔥 Keep fighting the good fight. Thank you Jesus, Ps. The Holy Spirit told me that when my husband isn’t the covering I need, that God is. So don’t forget that ladies ❤️ Submit and yield to Him.

This word is for me. My husband left our home and our 3 daughters in January and moved in with the OW whom I just only found out about last month and now has no communication with me or the girls since I found out about them. Praying day in and out for restoration and reconciliation in our union.
I'm reading the comments here...so many seem lost here and misquote or take out of context the Bible...seek the Lord while he may be found (isaiah 55:6-7) knock and the doors shall be opened ask and it shall be given (matthew 7:7)...all by His Grace and the Holy spirit...set your intentions on loving yourself more and not on the prodigal as they "may" never return (give them to God) seek God for whats next for you...read psalm 23 it helped me tremendously in my wilderness as I witnessed the lord cause me to lay down in green pastures and provided for me in abundance more than ever before...lastly my ex husband who I suspect to be a narcissist/bdp told me that biblically he could remarry but I could not and yes he is remarried and he has carried on as if me and our 3 sons never were. I am no longer bitter or angry I have simply accepted my "exodus" to God be the glory! I pray Gods peace for each and every hurting person on this feed...God Bless!

Thank you .. this is fantastic message. I am currently in the process of divorce. This woman just walked out from me and took away my children of 12 years marriage. I have been trying to get her back for the last 19 months and she stubbornly not reconcile with me. I am still praying for her till this date but once a while, I get angry .. that kind of cycle keep going and going.. ..
My wife is filling her mind with distractions from friends and family and medicates with phone games. I pray God will speak to her heart. God has his timing. Just need to have patience and trust

Im in the same boat, this September will be 5 years of standing, he has one daughter and another in the way...he seems happy for the babies, but he's just there for them, he doesn't even love the other woman, he cut all contact with me because the other woman is physco so he doesn't want her to run away with the kids ....we are still married and I know God wants to do something in his life, something I can't see .but I trust God! 🙏🏻
@@silalanis24 I just got served with divorce papers my husband says he has no time to go to court for child support so I guess he thinks divorce court will be easier I pray God will intervene and not allow the divorce to go through
@@silalanis24 you are describing my situation. Been doing this for 6 years. Still married. Husband has a family now with the OW but there's no love there. Just staying there so that the kid won't have a "broken home". He says he still loves me and has been miserable for all these years. Even suicidal... but doesn't change a thing. But God. This is a test of our faith. If God is telling you to stay and He will do something about it, then BELIEVE GOD. no matter what you see. He will reward you greatly.
