So classic. Glad people are enjoying it. If you like this, please check out this Prodigy/Tide commercial mash-up I did on another channel: • SMACK MY TIDE UP Thanks! :)
What some people don’t know is that Keith was a truly nice, gentle and polite human being. His stage persona was unique because he channeled his aggression and passion and let all out on stage. He is one of the true greats RIP
I saw these guys live in 95, it was absolute mayhem for 90 minutes! I was soaked from sweat as everyone was dancing and jumping the entire concert. Will never forget it!
This is one of the few pieces of electronic music that could stand toe-to-toe with metal and rock. So much fucking energy and rawness. I wish all their songs were like this.
im a metalhead, and when i was around 12 after listening to all the mainstream radio junk The Prodigy was the first band that introduced me to heavy music. 28 now, still love them
This shit is lame compared to some underground electronic music. I used to be into metal in highschool and started finding crazier and crazier electonic music and havent listened to metal since. There is electronic music that gets way heavier and more creative than metal has ever gotten.
@@1stIParkMyCar you haven’t heard enough metal then. Electronic does get intense yes like the profits then you move on too things like Speedcore and extratone. But there’s a lot of warnoise , free improve death metal, slam and blackened noise that wipe the floor with those genres.
I was there too and couldn't agree more, they followed up with a tent gig 2.5k capacity, it was so hot in there that if anyone touched the walls it rained condensation!! Kieth will be missed R.I.P
Rest in peace Keith, thank you for your music, and sponsorship of motorcycling. You were always a gentleman when we met you at bike events. I am sorry people were unable to reach you before you ended your life, my heart goes out to your close family and friends.
Rave in peace Keith Flint! Gone way too soon :( depression sucks. You are the grandmaster of techno music. You created your own unique style of techno music. You were so ahead of your time. We will not have another artist like you in our lifetime. You are a once in a lifetime artist. So unique and rare. What you brought in the 90's with your techno/rock mix was unheard of at the time. I'll always listen to your music till the day I die. At my funeral I want the prodigy being played!
Liam Howlett did all music from samples of other artists music. Keith had vocal and those crazy moves. Havent you listen to any prodigys interview? you should, before writing comments like this one :)
@@MaijaaR was gunna say before I saw your comment that all the Credit goes to Liam the guy really is a Prodigy...they were all just hang ons really until Fat went into production.
I would say the other members created the vibe and essentially made the live performances of Liam what they were@@Wicked_R ! World Class! The samples are all Liam though, yes.
That's funny nobody barely thinks of him except for during one song they might occasionally hear for 25 years but he dies and suddenly he will be missed.
Он хотел передать людям что-то важное, через слова и музыку. Я его не понимала по молодости пока не повзрослела и не увидела что его музыка передает весь тот трешь( конец), который ждет наш гниющий мир во грехе.
I am 20 years old, I have been listening to The Prodigy for as long as I can remember, it is my favourite band. Unfortunately, the last time they toured in my country, I was too young to come to the concert. It is such a grief to miss such opportunity and to think than you will never be able to see Keith live.
Keith Flint's distinctive vocals catapulted me to another dimension away from this dystopia. We, the members of the jilted generation, thank you for the music.
040mobil yea, I dont say... its been 20 years already :/ but I say... damn the music really was on different level! recently I played whole album of Beastieboys Ill communication and ODBs The return to the 36 chambers
I've seen Slayer, Sepultura, Pantera and many others live but I wish I would have been able to enjoy the intensity of this song in an outdoor setting such as this. Congrats to those that got to see them in their prime; rip my brother
Seen the Prodigy later on in 2006, so a few years after their prime but still a great show. Must see live band. Mind you Slipknot and Rage against the Machine were better live than the Prodigy IMO....
Wow 1996 to be 19 years old and to be in that crowd again it's moments like this is why I miss the '90s so much R.I.P. Mr.Keith Flint your going but you'll never be forgotten Gen-X forever
Дааа, навсегда вписали себя на аллею славы музыки:рубилово жесткого техно с элементами четкого и мощного звука. Ребята, это сносит крышу. Обожаю!!!!!!!
NOW AT MY MID 50’s I GOT WORRIED STARTING LOOSING MY HAIR ,,,,, :( BUT NOW AFTER SEING PRODIGY VIDEO HERE ,, I M GOING TO CONTINUE LOOKING COOL 😎 IM GOING TO GET MY HAIRCUT STYLE JUST LIKE THAT !!!!! 👏👏👍👍
RIP Keith and thank you Liam and all the other members both past and present for The Prodigy. Bridging my love for electronic and rave music with my love for rock and metal 🤘 truly a one of a kind band!
He has obviously taken a few pointers from Uncle John Lydon. RIP Keith. There are very few performers who put their heart and soul into it. He was one of the few.
I was working backstage at this festival. The crowd went fucking mental when this came on. Later, the Sex Pistols played and no-one had a clue what they were on about. So it goes...
this is the video you must watch if: 1 you're on your way to a bar and suspect trouble 2 you're psyching up to go face batman 3 you're not sure if that drug is really worth quitting
I just found that Ray Park was blasting this track, to get himself psyched up for the light saber fight with Liam and Ewan when they were filming Star Wars!
This song helped me to not give up on getting my fire starting badge when I was in the boy scouts. Thanks for the positive reinforcement through the tough times. And guess what! I got my badge!
Not exactly that’s how some Londoners say it ‘you was’ thou I ought to say ‘you were’ but logically since I’m referring to one person and not so many Keith Flint using was does have its logic.
listen mate.i have lots of respect for him and his music i love it actually.and the news this morning..well it made me sad to see legends commit suicide.BUT i like some black humor from time to time i didnt mean it in a bad way so dont tell me to be ashamed @@luiscampos2406
I remember seeing this on ITV at about 2am in about 1997 (who remembers all the festival footage they'd play then?) and it was the coolest thing I'd ever seen in my life.
Look at the fucking energy man, UN-FUCKING-REAL! sad I won't ever get to experience it live, shoulda woulda coulda. Love to all the Prodigy fam, we live for the beats! Look out for people in your life, respect one another and love one another. Rave in paradise, Keith.
I remember first hearing this when it was released in the states and thinking what energy in this recording it hit all the senses at once and got you fucking hyped!! RIP Keith you are free now..
What an amazing energy there music had and it came through them. Unique sound that was instantly recognisable. They stood the test of time because they nailed it! They had the passion and the drive and the music In there soul. Keith never died with his music still in him. He entertained us all I loved them from day 1 as I tuned into there frequency right off the bat. Luckily for me I never needed drugs to get a high from this kind of gig. I wonder if he hadn’t done as many drugs would he still be around today. I’ve seen a lot of people lose there 💩 with too many drugs 😕. At least he won’t be a tortured soul no more but well hacked off he’s gone. 😥
I was at Phoenix 96 and it was absolutely that hot with the weather we were laying underneath trucks to try keep cool. Loved The Prodigy, Foo Fighter's, Alanis Morissette, David Bowie, Sex Pistols
if there is one song on earth that makes you move, it must be this one... omfg how it hits! If you can listen this without moving, your dead. I'm peaceful quiet dude, but holy hell this song.. i'm bouncing and raving like a madman!
