the whole show is amazing! the journey is definitely the most important thing. There are also many other big numbers, but also lots of other really important numbers with really important messages. Also this performance was a mix of 3 different songs from the show :)

this was such a good tony performance!! love the show soo much and they really gave it their all here! i think the show is awesome, i feel like it has the perfect mix of big high energy numbers and some ballades and emotional stuff!

I'd watch the movie after the stage version because I wouldn't want his vision of the musical to be what the movie has and then think it's weird that the original Broadway one didn't have certain aspects that were in the movie only, when in reality it's weird the movie had those parts.

Love thy neighbour is amazing, it's hilarious and Chris Sieber just nails it. But so does Andrew Rannells.

It's crazy that with all the Tony noms this show got, Best Choreography wasn't one of them. And yes, the whole show is good and the movie version is excellent as well.

Yess thank you! When the ensemble is dancing, then the drop happens and they sing "one things universal" is one of my favorite Broadway moments!! I loved the reaction! Also, I have seen the whole show, and when it comes to the rest of it, it depends on your sense of humor. There are a few times where you needs a specific sense of humor to enjoy the jokes. I personally like the rest of the show and the music is amazing, but I think that it all depends if you can take more cheesy, Broadway type humor. I hope that helps!

There is only like 2-3 songs that aren't considered big numbers. It would be like a legally blonde situation but 100x better. (And I love legally blonde)

@Ben Reder my favourite is so much better (simply because it was my favourite to sing for the backing vocals... It was so much fun) but I do have a special place in my heart for blood in the water because I played professor Callahan, and over this past year I've had since good conversations with Michael Rupert (the original Callahan)

Loved this performance, the Prom Movie which I loved led me to discovering the Show. Wish I had seen it. but now I am a fan of both casts and of performers I didnt know before like Caitlin and Izzy. So glad it was made ❤️🎶

This is one of my favorite musicals of all time! Yes, it was two numbers, but not split where you thought it was. When the ensemble is in a line and splits in two, that is when the song changes from “Tonight Belongs to Us” to “Time to Dance” This show is a really heartwarming show that keeps you engaged the whole time! The choreography in every single number is brilliant, and there’s a really good mix of slow vs upbeat songs. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommended watching a bootleg of this online because the movie is fine, but definitely not the best representation of this phenomenal musical!

The whole show is very fun, high energy, and incredibly wholesome. You should watch their performance of "You Happened" on The View.

The first song was the Act 1 Finale, and then at 5:28 is when it became the Act 2 Finale. Also “Uncle Gary” is actually named Barry, and he is not her uncle, FYI.

Over the summer, for my birthday, I was actually able to meet two of the cast members from The Prom over Zoom, and it was so amazing! I met Caitlin Kinnunen, who plays the lead in the musical, and also Anthony Norman, one of the ensemble men, and they were both the sweetest ever! They even sang happy birthday to me, and made a joke about singing it over zoom!

I got to see this show live and it is sooo good! This performance kind of combines the two huge dance numbers of the show but there's some other ensemble numbers throughout. I wouldn't say the whole show is as exciting as this performance, there's definitely some more boring songs, but I think it's a pretty good show overall. The Netflix adaptation is one of the best I've ever seen and is super accurate, so I'd definitely give it a go.
