The actually meaning of the the title "The Promised Neverland" is actually based on the original book of Peter Pan. And no, not the Peter Pan Disney feeds us. I'm talking about the Peter Pan that would abduct kids and kill them when they showed signs of growing up. It makes sense, since rhe adults in a way kidnap the children, and then when they children reach a certain age they are eaten, never to grow up into adults. It honestly makes me mad how people seem to think Disney invented Peter Pan, when in reality they made a much safer version.

Didnt you guys know that this is like peter pan? Why? Because 1.Orphanage 2.Evil Momma 3.there are pirates in peterpan who abducts childrens from orphanage to sell them but in this anime... They replaced Pirates to monsters 4.Obviously, the title is THE PROMISED *NEVERLAND*

Funny watching this helped me realize why I love this series. So many after-the-end series are just filled with despair and no matter what I can't buy that the heroes can make it, but here I totally believe it. Even if it's only inches at a time, I totally buy that these kids will cross the finish line. And this is a huge thing, the ability to see continued hope in these protagonists who won't back down for anything.
