Thank you for your new explanation of the Trinity. I have always had trouble with this doctrine. I do not find three coequal persons in the Scriptures. You explanation is not one I have heard before and will need further reflection.

It's easy enough to err when we try to fit our eternal God and creator into the frame of this world. Almighty God, having created both time and space, exists in and beyond our experience of reality. In order to fit into the frame of this realm without breaking it, God chose to become incarnate, without abdicating His in power and place in and beyond the fabric of space/time. He will indeed, break the frame of this realm like an egg and we will perceive Yod-Hey-Vav-Hey in all His glory, not merely through the veil of creation or human flesh, but in full "I AM" majesty...

According to the scholar Dr. Nehemia Gordon, who has found The Name WITH VOWELS in over 1000 ancient scrolls. In ALL of these with vowels it is YaHoVaH. I hope you will look him up and find this information of value to your study. Shalom

The Shema, "The Lord our God is One" has been on my mind for some time as one of God's early witness to Israel of His coming Son as Saviour, BUT what drives me crazy is Jesus' words on the cross, "My God, My God, why have you forsaken Me?" Clearly, He did NOT choose to say 'Father' here. And if God cannot be divided feom Himself, bc He's ONE, how can He be forsaken by Himself on the cross? So are we looking at an instance of the tricky hypostatic union of Christ wherein we witness His humanity being punished in our stead? Help!

I appreciate this kind of teaching however I don’t think that we will truly understand the nature of YHVH until the day of Yeshua’s return. I think that Echad is more oneness than physically one. Because Paul says that at the very end we will be in Yeshua, Yeshua in the Father and the Father in all.

Jehovah or Ye/ahova means " YAH is chaos, ruin, or mischief". The yod has a "y" sound, the "heh" has a sound of breath. The "vav", originally called "waw" is to be considered as an "oo" sound, not "v" when it is closed in between other letters. And as I said pertaining to the "heh", the "heh" is a sound of breath. YHWH should be a more accurate translation of the Tetragrammaton. So therefore, the proper way to say the FATHER'S name would be YAH-WAH. The word l,o,r,d, is an English term for b,a,a,l. So basically you re-discovered modalism (by Sabelius), suggesting that the dogma of athanasius does not cover the load, is an open door, but suggesting that God is 'in a modus' or 'attribute' and ignoring the two-nature of Jesus, when he walked the earth in a human body, debate does not really give a full picture. Than saying that when Jesus was on earth, the trinity would be missing one person, is even a childish accusation, since in debates long long time ago, this point was explained, using the Bible. Jesus never ceased to be God. The trinity never was a 'duo'. When we talk in trinitarian explanation about Jesus death, and human nature, his body was on earth. The body can die, but not the soul (Matthew 10:28)

That's modalism. Saying that God is not three distinct person's but different expressions or attributes has been condemned by the church since the 4th century.

I've come to see the triune nature of Yah. Father is the mind. Yashua is the communication of the thought and Ruach is the understanding/Will of the communicated Idea. Take that for what it's worth to you. When you read "spirit" replace with the word will and see if that makes sense. When the "Word" came to Moses, Samuel, Jeremiah or The plan of Yah and Him knowing us being communicated and then the Will of Yah indwelling so we can DO His Will.

That explanation was pretty convoluted. What if the insertion of Yahovah was incorrect.How about that explanation? Here writes a previous Jehovah's Witness where Jehovah was inserted in their Bible even where it does not appear in the Greek scriptures. A son is a son and a father is a father. Give up on the Athanasian Creed.

But you do not give all the information to foist your personal theory on your class. 'Echad' is not 'yachid'. 'Yachid' always means just and only one, whereas 'echad' can mean one together or unity. The Greek equivalent to echad is hen, exactly the same meaning...it can indicate one or one together or unity. Hen is used by Yeshua when he says when a man and a woman come together they are one, 'hen', in Hebrew, if He had been speaking Hebrew, He would have used the word 'echad'. Indeed when Yeshua said "I and the Father are ONE"again He used the word 'hen', the Greek equivalent of 'echad'. 'Yachid' in Greek is 'mono', it means one and only one.Also, the Jews before Yeshua, had the concept of the two powers of God, but they still believed the LORD is 'echad'...it's the only way they could parse the burning bush, the pillars of cloud and fire, the LORD visiting Abraham etc. If you believe Yeshua is only an attribute of GOD...and the Father an attribute, why would He say "I and the Father are one'? Can 2 attributes be 'one'? Can I see one of those attributes of your wife? Or can the be somewhere else than where your wife is? I fear this is a poor illustration and you are not grasping the complex notion of the hypostatic union. And calling Yeshuah an attribute...dangerous ground. Yeshua IS Yahua or Yehoveh if you prefer, not just an attribute! As for His Name, perhaps believers chose to use LORD because they didn't know how to pronounce His Name (you say it one way - Yehoveh which I've never heard before, - did you choose this just to be different? - how do you know it's pronounced thus, why not go along with most who choose Yahweh? Vav can be a 'v' an 'o' or a 'u'...personally I have my own reasons for believing it's Yahua, but I may be wrong). We all know when LORD is written all in capitals it is the tetragammatron. Do not let hubris get the better of you, sir. Give all the available information.

Thought provoking, however the Trinity are not the attribute of God, therefore to use Becky as an example is way off the mark. The Trinity is Bibical and the dead Sea scrolls does not contridict this Bibical truth. Amen.

The word 'God' does not convey understanding to us, only the Hebrew brings the understanding. The word 'God' singular, is translated form the Hebrew אלהים ALaHaYM a Plural, meaning more than one. The word 'One' does not convey understanding, only the Hebrew אחד ACHaD meaning 'One' but also meaning 'Together', as in Marriage. A man and woman are joined to become 'One' for the perpose of bringing children into the world. The Union is not just of the flesh, it is also a Union of Spirit and as such is Blessed. ALaHaYM are 'Set Apart' Holy Spirit Beings, the Father and the Son. Both existed before the Creation of the Heavens and the Earth and All Life within them. Their Family Name is יהוה YaHUaH. Not only that but we also will bear Their Name as Their Children, as we become part of the Family of ALaHaYM (Elohim). The Holy Spirit Son emptied Himself of His 'Glory' His Spirit Body and as Holy Spirit, was sent from Heaven, by His Father, to the womb of a virgin to be born into the world as the 'Son of Man'. Hope you find this interesting because it is derived from the scriptures.

Yahweh is a spirit never seen by humans. Yahweh sends his agents bearing His name into this dimension to carry His messages and do His bidding. Prior to Yeshua, the angel of Yahweh that wrestled with Jacob was an agent and Yeshua the human Messiah is also the arm or agent of Yahweh. This is elementary knowledge unless you are still in darkness claiming to know Yeshua but he doesn't know you. Like I said before here, if you worship a God named Jesus, you do not know Yeshua the human mediator or Yahweh the God he proclaimed! Come all the way out!!!
