Now, some people call Ohio the armpit of the United States. It’s flat, it’s boring. They can’t understand why anyone who grew up there would want to stay.
However, others would call Ohio the heart of it all. Not just because of its geographic location in the US, but also because it’s a place where heartwarming stories and joy are created.
So … why Cincinnati? There are plenty of pros to living here. Yes, it’s affordable. It’s safe. It’s not too hot, it’s not too cold. You get 4 seasons of weather. The parks, the arts, the sports. There are great neighborhoods and schools. The politics are roughly split. You can find your people here.
But for me, I’m a husband and father of five. And, it’s more than the fact that Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky have the big city amenities with a small town feel. That’s true.
For me, it’s a place that I can put down family roots. It’s a place where I know I can raise my family, and one day, I’m going to be sitting around my dining room table, sharing a meal and enjoying the company of my children and grandchildren.
