There are a large number of shooters who compete in and enjoy USPSA and Steel Challenge events. Our family, including two pre-teens, are active in our local club and compete every week. If you have issues, start your own organization instead of trying to destroy the USPSA. There are many of us quite happy with things as they are. The anti-2A groups love people like you!
Yeah, its not the hundreds of thousands of dollars a year that are being lost by mismanagement with no accountability.....its clubs not sending activity fees until there is meaningful change that will take down USPSA. Come on now, lets not pretend that anyone other than the legacy board is responsible for this.
Nice job, especially with a carry gun. It's great to see these matches are catching on. Change is finally starting to happen as more members become aware of the BOD shortcomings.
fun as always pops. great to see the numbers growing at PGC.. and the stages were awesome. I think its $3/shooter for one classifer.. or $1.50 for none.
@@PopsQuest Personally Ill take another field course over a classy any day. way more fun... and it keeps a bit more $ in the club for more things for me to shoot at. thats called a win win
"Current Activity Fees Schedule: ** Level I Match - without classifier $1.50 per registered competitor per division. Level I Match - with 1 classifier 3.00 per registered competitor per division." Presumimg that the club is current on its membership, it is supposed to send at least $1.50 to the organization for each competitor at the match. That would mean that the organization will receive $85.50 from the match, even without a classifier. Had their been a classifier, then it would have been $171.00 going to the organization. Holding an advertised USPSA match still sends money to the organization. Holding a non-USPSA match at the club until the changes wanted are seen would probably send a stronger message. I respect the decision to show displeasure with the board. I am however not confident that it will hinder the board as much as it is meant to with the current implementation. 🤷🏾♂️
I'm not the match director, just a non member participant that helps with the match, I'm not sure how much the org is actually getting from this match. There is talk about changing the name in order to avoid any discipline from the almighty uspsa
If you plan on carrying that gun, PUT THE SIGHTS BACK ON or pray you don't go fishing for your dot, have it fail, or have it start blinking because the battery is low during a stressful self-defense situation.
