I discuss the psychological /mental health impact of gender based violence, in addition to raising awareness about the severity of the issue in South Africa. The aim is to inform viewers about the psychological symptoms for their own knowledge if they wish to understand it in order to support a loved one who is a victim of gender-based violence, or if they wish to refer them to a professional.
