US Economy is still the largest and unlikely to be surpassed by anyone else. Mitary budget still exceeds the next ten countries put together. On those two metrics there is no decline or even any viable competition. And those are the only two that matter.

I won't go into deep water here but as an example, legacy recruits -- the sons, grandsons, great grandsons et al going back to the post-Civil War era -- are no longer enlisting to a significant degree. There are reasons for this. Tradition is a significant contribution to a cohesive and dedicated force. Tradition matters. Loyalty matters. I agree. I just saw a fairly new interview the other day of one of the hostages that was in the tunnels for 50-something days and, it did the same thing to me. Which was remind me of how bad the people and especially the hostages and victims of Oct. 7 had and have it. I know that Sweden is dealing with the same problem just on a different level. I’m in Alabama in the U.S. but, I hope and, need to be praying really, for Sweden to stay Swedish. Sweden is a beautiful country with beautiful people and I just hope that the Woke liberal agenda doesn’t get worse for Sweden or anywhere else. Because that ideology is a death sentence

It’s not just a matter of comparative casualty numbers. Intent matters too. Hamas killed over 1200 Israelis in a single day, then the IDF stopped them. Do you actually believe they wouldn’t have gone on killing, if they’d been able to? When they shoot rockets at Israel, they know full well that they could land anywhere - an empty parking lot, a field, or a kindergarten or playground full of kids. They’ve fired over 20,000 of these things at Israel since Oct. 7th.

@@KathyPrendergast-cu5ci How many were killed by Hamas fireworks? As many as by bad language? No - Hamas killed 1139 in one day...which is NOT over 1200. What was the INTENT behind that lie? Since then the IDF have killed 41,000 people UNINTENTIONALLY? 17,000 children UNINTENTIONALLY? 200 members of the UN UNINTENTIONALLY? Or is UN INTENTIONALLY? Perhaps we should just charge them with manslaughter due to diminished intentionality? Comparative casualties are ALL that matter. There is a reason the Old Testament says 'an eye for an eye - a tooth for a tooth' - not 'a head for an eye - a jaw for a tooth'.
