It's like, so what I took him get over it "why do you care so much about whose D I ride, loser?" It's hilarious honestly. She lays it all out on the table hidden beneath an angelic voice. She provokes, condescends to, and giggles at the audience in a bratty, mean-spirited way. It's like she's saying, "and you're still gonna love me in the end. I'll still be rich, famous, beautiful, and I have a man!" She basically says this in "we can't be friends" which is a song for and about the public. "Just wanna let this story die (get over it) and I'll be alright. Wait until you like me again!" And she's right... the songs are doing well, fans are riding for her, and it'll be forgotten soon. All the people judging Ethan will be cheering for him soon enough just like with Pete. It's inception levels of gaslighting, half-truths, lies, and blatant revelations all mixed into one. The girl is smart. She hides the true message under angelic ballads and seemingly relatable/ empowering lyrics (like tying the snarky mean girl "yes, and?" which is about cheating to a gay anthem with "boy put your lipstick on noone can tell you nothing!), but the reality is based all around one simple truth: She cheated on her husband with her married co-worker, dumped her husband, started dating a married father, he dumped his wife, and now they're living together in NYC to live out their happily ever after (don't you dare bring it up!). That summarizes the message and inspiration of the whole album... period

I have a theory Ari is using triangulation against Dalton. This is her one-sided story about how he cheated on her. How do we know she didn't cheat first, that it wasn't a toxic relationship where they would cheat on each other to be petty and get back at the other for doing the same. you know, those relationships where people do whatever they can to see if they will be fought for. She wants everyone to see her as the victim and Dalton as the bag guy which is why she ran into the arms of a married man. I also have a theory that's a bit out there, but it seems she changes her image to be like the other woman that she's taking her man from. She's blonde for Ethan just like lily, had her black girl era to be like Naya, cool girl phase to be like Pete's ex. Like I legit think something is there, that she wants to fill in the role that the girlfriend/wife fills for the man she's taking. That's why she doesn't do the work on herself to be realistic and mature in relationships, she thinks she can step in much like an understudy can.

Honestly? She feels as a "victim", but surely Ethan's ex wife felt horrible. Not only she hooked up with a married man with a baby who is 10 months?.. she was going to a double dates with her, back then husband, and Ethan and Lilly (his ex wife). She held their baby, went to their house, while sleeping with Ethan. This is gross. The term is not even aligned with the "betrayal". This situation is just sick. Furthermore, she has been the other women. Entering into relationships (ALL of them) with men being into relationship o married... What she replies is just "yes, and?", "the boy is mine". All the fans that are defending her, I would say, imagine if she did it to you? She is a narcissist, who speaks with Cat Valentine's voice, she is so freaking fake and it is scary that she doesn't even realise it. The title of this video is a little misleading. While I agree with this, I don’t feel that it touched on the actual psychology and was more opinionated. I believe Ari has no excuse to be doing the things she does, but you also should also be looking at her time on Nick. More people have been coming out about how traumatizing it was working with Dan. I do think that could have affected Ari a great amount. Like I said this is not justification of her actions. Her actions are still horrible! I’m just giving criticism on how this could go more psychologically in depth on why she could act the way she does. Just saying someone is insecure and using that as an excuse for everything is not actually analyzing anything. This feels like more of a ranting to your best friend about the girl you don’t like video than a psychological analysis on someone’s behavior.
