Am Dental Surgery Assistant student in Namibia, and am thanking you for this video, that's very similar to the one that my lecture had thought me...keep making videos for us, they're very much helpful to us...👍👍👍❤
Hey thank you so much 🙏🏼 Sorry I’m not quite sure what you mean. I think you mean to your patient if they’re higher caries risk? I would just explain that to them and emphasise that they need to be stabilised and undergo preventative treatment also like fluoride varnish, high Fluoride toothpaste, good OHI and a Scale and polish. I hope that helps
I would floss before because the last thing you want to leave on your teeth is fluoride. But if flossing involves making a C shape around a tooth than you’re just wiping away all of that good fluoride after brushing. Also you’ll possibly bleed if you don’t do it regularly and if you bleed you’ll want to wash your mouth out with water. Finally if you might get some debris from flossing that might come to the buccal or lingual or palatal surface and then that is more easily brushed away. So yeah we’re gang floss before 👌🏼
