After playing around with the shotguns in this game, I can get now why they were allocated to the secondary slot in the original MW2. None of these maps are particularly suited to shotguns. Putting them as secondaries actually gave them a purpose.

For a more consistent lockwood use the lockwood defender heavy long barrel. Instead of six pellets in the default barrel there are ten pellets being shot from each round. More pellets have a better chance of hitting the target for more damage.

Especially now since they increased the TTK, these 1 shot kill weapons will dominate and be meta for the whole lifespan of the game

You should try this again with using tac stance. I was testing it and if you build into it it’ll be even tighter than ads.

It's just the damage clamp that's not working in MP. I'm not sure if other explosives do less damage but, the damage reduction isn't enough for frag grenades within their maximum damage radius.

that shotgun sound has no force behind it whatsoever at least the MW2022 were decent sounding although, almost all guns sound like peashooters in this game. Only some LMGs have a decent sound

i dont know why, but i just suddenly remembered that i used to have an alt ps3 account for cod games, where i would only use shotguns. i wouldnt camp or troll with them, i was just using them as main weapons on that account. i rewmember back on bo2 i used to be able to run around with a Suppressed R870 and nuking players, i was somehow "good" with shitty shotgun builds. i dunno why, but i might do something like that again, for the hell of it.

Knife has just the faster "firerate" or attackrate in that case. since you need to get up close many are not prepared to be that close^^

Does sighting in on shotguns help in this game? There were some previous COD games where sighting in actually made the shotgun worse. I haven't kept up with modern COD though.

Dude I was using the Lockwood 680 in a match of TDM, and I got the most kills than everyone in the match but still lost. Everyone was mad just because I was killing everybody with just a shotgun 😂

Shotguns definitely ain't as strong as MW2. They be inconsistent as hell sometimes, but they never fail to make people mad for some reason lol.

I did a grenade launcher forged camo with my friend in invasion. You just have to start your game at the same time as him and hope he will be against you. There is not that much people playing the mode, so it's possible and also grounded good since you can choose where to spawn

There needs to be a penalty for people leaving games early other than no exp or whatever. Like mmos do with dungeons, if you leave before the end you get a 30 min or hour penalty and can't queue for a new match
