The Punisher which came out in 2004 , is one of my favourite comic book movies . Sure it wasn´t brilliant done as The Dark Knight or Ironman and even as The 2008 version of The Incredible Hulk , but still it is a good action movie and Thomas Jane played Frank Castle/The Punisher , perfectly and made me enjoy the movie , and as far as i´m concerned , Tom Jane is the best of all of The Punishers portrayed in movies .
So here´s my tribute to The Punisher with the song «The End has Come» by Ben Moody taken from the original Punisher Soundtrack .

Thomas Jane is without a doubt in my opinion the best Punisher EVER! Both movie and Video Game!

Yeah I like John as the punisher but he’s almost to aggressive Thomas is a lot more calm and to me that’s probably scarier.

This was the best Punisher ever shown The punisher in the comic is a mindless assassin and just shoots for no reason this one is more badass and has reasons for killing people.

@Zen Razor Not exactly.The Punisher of The Comics was heavily implied to have low-functioning psychopathic traits that were triggered by criminal behavior even before his family was killed by mobsters.For instance,Frank trained to be a Catholic priest as a young man but found great difficulty in forgiving those who broke Commandments which is rather ironic considering he would later violate the Seventh Commandment("Thou shalt not kill")as The Punisher on multiple occasions due to that very same inability to forgive wrongdoing.

@Zen Razor Also,whilst Thomas Jane was somewhat more sympathetic than the Frank Castle of The Comics he got Frank`s clinical thought process as The Punisher down pat;Ray Stevenson and Jon Bernthal better portrayed The Punisher`s cynicism,mental instability and hard edged nature.Lundgren got nothing but the basic look and M.O. of The Character right.

Warzone is more «gory» like probably a Punisher movie should be , but it is also a very goofy movie at times . I prefer this one because of the performance of Thomas Jane who really brought the Punisher Character to life . Probably the perfect Punisher movie , should have Thomas Jane , with the «gory» action from Warzone and some solid background story .
