Actually Faye, it is both of these. The context of the passage tells us what the prophet is doing, merely teaching a present audience or speaking of things that will happen in the future. - MM

Why didn't you go deeper about supernatural gifts? You seem to minimize that un your explanation. Can you make a video about Spiritual Gifts such working miracles, Healing and supernatural powers? The spiritual aspect of 1 Corinthians 12: 7 and 27.

The Bible say, do not believe the lying religious people and the scribes. Do not turn to fables. You must follow Christ. The light, the truth and the way. That Christ came in the flesh. It is in ALL of us. But who finds pleasure in following that light? The understanding we all have, that boosting proud, holding us high, professing to know God . We know it is wrong. But we do not follow that light. We turn to the Bible and preachers. They tell us we can not be good enough to God. We need Jesus. But think if the Bible is the fables. Talking snakes and donkeys. God becoming a man? Could it be those fables we are warned about? The Word of God say, You religious people have closed the gate to Gods Kingdom and you have not gone in yourself. Perhaps you can fullfill the law good enough to God. Perhaps we have been told lies and fables, because we did not find pleasure in following Christ.

Please read 2 Timothy 3:15-16: www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=2+Timothy+3%3A15-16&version=NASB Paul teaches that the Bible leads us to believe and be saved through Christ and provides each believer with the information he needs to become mature spiritually and useful in service to God. The Bible leads us to Christ and salvation, not to confusion. - MM
