Holy- For the past two months I've been in this state of "numbness" and lack of motivation for anything, even life. I've felt like I was spiraling into a routine of hell daily, and seeing this video on my feed today just told me everything I've been subconsciously telling myself but was too afraid to commit to. That fear of the unknown and breaking away from everything that I thought I knew kept me from becoming a better me. A new me. I needed this, and judging from the similar comments here, everyone else needed it, too.
I'm actually on the process of building my confidence and socializing,and what I realized is that it's actually feels great and easier than what i always thought it's hard lol... I first started going on church (which is kinda crowded but fr it helping me a lot)
God's grace is with you you've got this. I have had a similar thing of socialising in Church and my Church has an evening service which I prefer because its quieter but I have friends there. Find the right service for you if your Church has multiple and whatever happens know in your heart that God is in control no one else and he cares about you ❤
Wow I've never thought I'd see a similar circumstance here. Recently, I started joing the hospitality team in my church and realized that all my fear in socializing was nothing because I did fine in talking and knowing about other people! What really hinders us from being better is our mind that cages us. By God's grace I was able to serve without a problem. I'll be praying for you so keep on keeping on!
I have had a lot of moments in my life where I have been afraid of what will happen trying something new. I end up pushing it away, but this video makes me realize that I am halting success by working through this by simply trying. If I try then I can say I did it, the outcome shouldn’t matter. I needed this.❤️
I really appreciate your existence. Even though I don't know you, seeing you reconnect with a past friend and living your best life made me very happy. It reminded me that anything is possible, and that I can do it too. I also haven't journaled since January this year, and yet somehow you've convinced me to open it up again and do the prompt you suggested haha. I don't want to live my life in fear anymore. I've been mentally and emotionally "stuck" this entire year, feeling rained with no motivation, rarely going outside, and not being close to anyone anymore. I literally started implementing Nike's motto as a life mantra a few months ago because i'm so sick of living in fear. Since then, I've been planning so I can start taking action as soon as possible.
this video is...... the EXACT push & energy I needed. one of the biggest fears I overcame recently was starting a youtube channel - fear of how people would perceive me, fear that people would not care for me or my content, etc. hearing you speak about your experiences what dealing with your own fears of the unknown has inspired me to continue pushing myself even when I feel the slightly bit of fear or discouragement, and think more about embracing opportunities in an optimistic way. thank you ❤

thank u so much for making this video , it made me cry but thats a good thing because i finally get what that eerie dark feelings that have been with me for years now really are - i definitely got closer to an answer over the years but this just described exactly what it is . Fear can hold our life's captive in so many different ways and with the endless chatter of social media u can just avoid facing your fears without even realising how and when every single thing in your life started catering to iT.
Thank you for this. This is exactly what I needed to hear today. Ever since we moved to a different country, I've slowly regressed into this mould. For 6 six years I've stayed in this mould because of fear. Our life here was so unstable that I fear for my future. I fear of the possibility of going back home where we would start everything from scratch. But hearing this, I'm trying my best to not fear and strive for the better. What I realized is that we shouldn't fear of the intangible circumstances. A lot times things are way out of our control and all we can do is just accept it. Tomorrow i go back to college after a term where i have been falsely accused for things and have been prejudiced and discriminated against because im a Christian in whispers behind my back and subtle hatred just to have to sit with these people tomorrow and this was perfect. I also have a few other decisions i need to be making and i am holding onto every thread God gives me in making those because making the right decisions is so important to me in this situation
Feel the fear and do it anyway. Discomfort is good. Your nervous system is trying to keep you with what's familiar. But change/growth/evolution is the purpose of our being. i wish i have the courage to reach out to old friends, wish i could be brave enough to try things and pursue whatever it is. but i literally run on anxiety and worries. even in my cozy days, i still feel uneasy. i just do what im told and stopped pursuing what i like because it feels scary to the point that it numbs me. i’ll save this vid and rewatch, along with the other videos that i found. thank you for sharing your thoughts and making this video. hope people who are like me will keep going no matter how hard it is to move one step ahead.

Recently i struggle with myself a lots. The pressure coming from my study really press me, and some plans i want to do but i haven't.
