Kandis has been missing for 14 years, since March 2008.

@ 5:03 I make a mispronunciation of the word "enveloped", I must have been getting very tired while editing because I did not even notice this! I will definitely correct this in a future rerelease.
Also - During my research, I watched and listened to several resources that pronounced Kandis's name in different ways. Due to the nature of the spelling, I decided to stick with the pronunciation used in the video. I will do more research into this and correct this in any future re-releases!

@@snashac899 I've pulled body parts out of a pipe. I was working in central London and there was a building site next door. They accidentally flooded our basement with Bentonite clay when drilling piles- they'd punctured a very old drain that ran under our building and had a manhole in one of our rooms. So, drain clearing plumbers came in and started flushing the clay out of the pipe and after a while bones came out. When something that looked like the end of a human long bone came out, we called the police. The bones were very old and deemed too old to investigate- archaeology effectively. We gave them a proper Christian burial in the wall of the theatre understage area, rites performed by the theatre priest (every West End theatre has a priest who pops in every now and again, or at least used to). I remember us all clustered around the CCTV as we pushed a camera along the drain, it was quite exciting, going "OOh! It's a SKULL! Oh wait, that's just a brick." We didn't find much of the body, bits and pieces of bone. It was all rather exciting.

When you have someone who lives on the margins of society, it's usually harder to keep in touch and track their movements. If you have someone like this in your life, stay in touch and keep tabs on them, especially if they're young and naïve. You may be the only one trying to make sure they're alright. Try to remember what date you talked to them, where they live or are staying, where they work (if they work), who they're dating, and where they plan to go. Write it down. Take notes. You may need it someday. Or a detective might.

Such a profound comment. It really caught my attention. I was similar to these girls when I was in my early 20s and I was so naive. I got lucky that nothing too tragic happened. I made some terrible choices but came out pretty much unscathed. I have thought a lot about the way I acted and I was abused by several family members. I was shown very little love. I didn’t really have anyone. I believe that is why I acted so recklessly back then. I wanted love from anyone. I have cut ties with my entire family but I did find a little puppy 14 years ago and he was my baby. He passed 10 months ago and it’s been the hardest time of my life. People don’t understand but having that unconditional love and bond saved me. I have 4 other dogs currently and they are wonderful. Fred was my once in a lifetime doggo though. I’m sorry I am off topic but when I see a story of someone losing a loved one, I have a difficult time.

Both my parents are criminologist from Canada and I have myself studied canada's criminal law for a little while in college; How it works here in the North is what we call 25 to life which is self-explanatory, it's a sentence of 25 years minimum, up to life if the individual is seen as not fit to go back in society. The logic behind the law is to give to people (especially youth) a second chance at life after committing a crime while still giving them a harsh sentence (for example, an 18 years old gang member who murders a rival under the influence of drug could get a second chance at life down the line, getting out of penitentiary at around 50 years old, now not posing any logical danger to society). On the other hand, the law also offers the power to criminologists, like my parents, to keep certain individual like this guy behind bars for the rest of their life since psychopaths/sociopaths are some of the few people that are basically impossible to rehabilitate. Good law overall if you ask me

He must've been neglected or somehow abused when he was a child, so it scarred him into feeling inferior. That's Canada. Like "sorry to inconvenience you but I may have discovered parts of a person." Actually, it's more likely that you just don't know what to do in that situation. I mean, you see it and you're sure of what you're seeing but you're still like "no way is that what this really is". Even though Kandis had an "itinerant" lifestyle, a 2 year gap to wait to report her missing is a ridiculously long time to hold off on doing so.. (Especially with her being so young) My condolences and prayers do go out to her family and friends as she is a victim of this monsters heinous crimes. Her family reported her missing almost immediately but the police convinced them she ran away. 2 years was when they finally convinced the police to treat it ass a missing persons.

I disappeared for 5 years nobody reported me anything. Some families dont care about the children and ignore anything that happens to them. They tossed me in the street. Now 30 years later that im doing very well they think its very important to make amends.

I used to live in Oshawa. Its been called "The Dirty 'shwa" for my entire life. I have no clue when those stats were from, but I promise you they are VERY incorrect. Oshawa is a very violent area of the GTA. Of course it has its nicer areas and its more... seedy areas, but as a general rule you dont go to Oshawa unless there is no other option.

Born and raised. I can confirm, always been the dirty 'shwa. Fuck that place, but fuck Strong harder. No matter how much time passes, I'll always remember the day Rori was found. Barely a day goes by I don't think of her and loathe Strong. It seems to get more gutwrenching the more time goes on and the world keeps turning as if nothing happened.

This judge's attitude to these women has horrified me as much as their murderer's did. 25 and 18 years CONCURRENTLY was all their lives were worth? As soon as people have drug issues or become homeless they're devalued. He's blamed the victims for what happened to them through the lenient sentences he imposed. The judge said they could never erase, change or undo what Adam did but it would have gone a long way to show their worth as human beings.

It is an alternate spelling for Candace. I have a friend that spells her name Kandis. I noticed a few things were mispronounced, but that is to be expected on narrated RU-vid videos. Example- "enveloped". In this video, it was pronounced as the term for packaging of a mailing item, however the word "enveloped as in "envelop" is pronounced en-VEL-op, accent on the "vel" meaning to wrap up completely. Easy mistake to make. There are some channels, though, that I struggle to listen to, like Ty Nott's channel. He mispronounces so many words that you have to wonder if it is intentional.

I just want to say she went missing when she was 19... and yeah that’s kind of weird she didn’t get reported missing for 2 years, but you’re an adult by then and if you’re not very close with your family, or not very happy or just a general person to be very independent (like me), I think it’s plausible. I love my family but we’re not very close, I live within 45min of my family but I still see them about 3 years. I take care of myself. At 19, I had a full time job working 106 hrs every 2 weeks and had left school and lost all contact with my family. I was also depressed and sometimes wondered how long it would take if I went missing for my family to realize it because we don’t really have a strong family connection. I was just really devoted to my hobby (art and skateboarding) and my job (nurse at a hospital facility for children that didnt really have a family to be there for them, so I felt really connected to my job be kind of a mother figure I never had for these kids) and getting an education to move up from being a nurse. Some people just don’t always have that ideal family life where someone would notice if they went missing, or if they haven’t heard from them, it was kind of passive like “eh well they will come around... hopefully they will eventually). I’m 25 now and I can safely say I’m not depressed and I make sure to make my presence known to neighbors because it’s channels like these that made me realize if I go missing or my bf spontaneously decides to murder me, I don’t think it would be very noticeable. I feel for ppl that don’t have a close family. It’s sad they waited so long but she was an independent adult.

Maybe 2 or 3 years ago, In a small town 20 minutes from where I worked, a man commited suicide by laying in the middle of a dark road wearing black clothes at 2 am. A woman came a long a short time later and ran him over having not seen him. He died instantly. The police took the womans car into evidence for a week before giving it back. The woman was friends with the service manager at my work so the car was brought in to be checked for any major damage after this whole situation. I put the car on the lift to give it a look over... The guys scalp, chunks of flesh, fat, blood were all jammed into every crevice of the bottom of the car. The police just left it all there for a week and just sent it down the road. Freaking horrible. They tried to make me clean it. Fuck that.

After all the disturbing things I've seen and heard in my life, after being in the military, after going through a terrible divorce....I've never, ever, felt the need to inflict pain and suffering on someone. I felt anger. I felt hate. I've felt helpless. But, never once has I thought of taking my pain out on someone else. It's very hard for us to understand what happens in a person's head to do these things. Scary, man.

Sexual activities? Do you mean when other men in prison attack him or are you referring to consensual prison relationships? And yeah, for general population, many of whom are there for less severe crimes, prison should be about rehabilitation. For Adam, I hope they forget him in solitary.... Prison isn't supposed to be fun, but there are plenty of cases of severe abuse and neglect of prisoners; its definitely not the lovely place we assume it to be just because they get basic needs of food and interaction. For someone like Strong, who feels no remorse and isn't sorry one bit, I'd like to see proper medieval punishments brought back.

Yeah- I put some plaster on a cars windows that easily washed off with a hose. The guy responded by assaulting me to the head with a sledgehammer. I was arrested for wilful damage with a major concussion, forced to swallow and choke on my vomit, and threatened and scolded by Joseph Le Fleming Burrows and Mitchell Cattell. I was refused medical assistance for 3 hours. The officers even lied in my disclosure about how I got the injury in order to protect the guy that did it seemingly. I have a head injury and I just about died. But look how the police treat the white, male, serial killer.. he gets half the menu from Wendy's, video recorded interviews and a comfy chair 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄 FTP

Do y'all realize the smell of dead?? The neighbors upstairs have been smelling that smell for a long time. I'm sure they thought it was just this disgusting obese slimy something out of Star wars gross man. I'm a floral designer and work with funeral homes..death smells worse than road kill ever could now add rotting in water and it's beyond foul there are no words.
