Amazing work bro. Theres just one thing was in in qu - star people battles, alot more lasers. Im thinking something like warhammer 40k with those big ass ships and huge armies
Most people have the Qu stick people with their "tail" to change them, when in actuality those little nanite automatons did the work. Exactly accurate!
@@jasonbourne1126 I doubt it. Think about this, the Qu were nomadic beings. They wouldn't and likely don't have the motivation to build all the infrastructure needed to turn trillions of people on a planet into genetically engineered beings. According to the document, those little things that look different from the Qu were nanite automatons that did the changing via nanotechnology. Not only did they genetically engineer but they could also physically reshape
@@keithdafox2257 maybe but it would take a long time to turn every being on a planet. The book also mentioned that the qu killed everyone on the planets.
@@jasonbourne1126 yes but they also have long range thinking on scales beyond what we have. 40 million years sounds like a lot to us but perhaps to the Qu, only a few generations. Consider that the only buildings the Qu left when they abandoned human space were those monument pyramids on the modular people's planet. They wouldn't have much technology cause why would you need technology and infrastructure when you can genetically engineer anything and everything to what you desire? The Qu were neglectful, and if they'd made labs to convert entire planetary populations, those labs would still exist. Yet, the documents never mention anyone got ahold of any Qu technology
Young Colonial- "What are we gonna be doing in the next 40 million years? Hope we aren't still eating shit." Elder Colonial- "Our time will come, this suffering will all pay off."
The process of the Qu turning all of the humans into other animals wasn't an instantaneous act. It took a generation or two for them to change. But I still love the animation
@@TomoyaOkazaki13 They ruled over our galaxy for over 40 millions of years, so technically you have a point. But some people just lacks the concept of perceiving such a vastly long period of time I guess, hence why sometimes we get chronologically messed up combination of dinosaur species from each different eras in movies/media that which the gap between them is far bigger than how much we humans have existed on Earth.
All tomorrows is just absolutely frightening, could you image one night you hear sirens everywhere causing you to wake up only to then right after have your house blasted in by flying aliens that then turn you into a lego?
@@capablancdo not put nukes and star destroying weapons in the same class, i dont know bout planets but if humanity threw all of their nuclear weapons to the sun, nothing would happen.
I think the Imperium could hold their own for a while, but I have no idea who would win. I think the Qu have an advantage just based on the current Imperium’s habit of not pursuing more advanced technology.
@@grantbarday5760 due to the Qu being alien in nature, means any Loyalist legion that fights Xenos and the Inquisition will not hesitate and lay the ABSOLUTE beat down. Not to mention of their mentality of just throwing soldiers into both the literal and metaphorical meatgrinder against the Qu.
The Imperium would make quick work of the Qu imo, considering the Warp travel which the Qu do NOT have, it takes Eons for the Qu to migrate to other galaxies, as stated in the book. Plus… it’s the Imperium… the Qu are fucked. The Big E, Astartes and Ultramarines as well as the Primarchs? Yes. The Qu are getting destroyed.
Star people 1 : so any idea to upgrade our defence ? Star people 2 : added a very high quality and quantity gaming chair Star people 1 : Ok who next Star people 2 : ............ (QU war begin) : *A few day laters* Colonial 1 (origin Star people 2) : This your fault Colonial 2 (origin Star people 1) : Why me ? Colonial 1 : you are not adding the f***ing gaming chair Colonial 2: you say you are pro gamer of tower defence, strategy, warfare game Colonial 1 : your facility doesn't match my skill bi***
Great animation. But I was always under the impression the Qu engineered organisms the old-fashioned way, in labs. I assumed they just captured humans and harvested their genetic material before killing them/until they died.
Huh, that could be the case. I'm not too sure actually, there's many interpretations of how they do it. I actuly haven't read the book yet, maybe when I do I can interpret the genetic engineering of the Qu better
Yeah that's what I thought too. The species that retained their intelligence mourned not the lives they once lived personally, but the fact that they in their state were the last to exist of each of their respective peoples.
What the Qu hated wasn't just that they... Dared to fight back. What they hated was that they *could*, that for once they bled, and they feared their battles would not be won. They knew the war would always be theirs to win in the end, but they never felt as frustrated by these... Things throwing primitive weaponry at them, and HURTING.
I just released a song called "the Qu have ARRIVED" Experimental Dance horror vibes on the moment they attack. Check it out now Only if u want to. Btw Great job on the Walls depiction!
