I just realiced that the characters are going to ressurect. The Globulone that the Captain holds says "Last born (random hour)". Which means they can reborn through those testicles. Which explains why Chestnut says "I hope me and the boys find you some day" after retrieving them.

@@martincastillo6743The main difference is that while Astartes get the Geneseeds from the dead, it's only to kickstart and maintain the transformation into post-humans. But in Space King, if that hypothesis is correct, the Holy Globules contain also the memories and personality of the dead in some way, perhaps going way back (but they lose some parts of them over time?).

Alien (tyranids), Starship Troopers (power armor), Star Wars (space magic and genetically modified soldiers), Dune of course (what with the psychic god emperor and all), Foundation, Mad Max, little bit of Tolkein in there with the space elves (the name Eldar for elves comes directly from LotR lore) and the orks go without explanation. Probably a ton I missed as well.

You see, all those male space marines are problematic. Being depicted as strong white males is toxic, they want the space marines to be more in touch with their trans/gay side. GW are unironically too stupid to get easy money, if they had made deals with creators and made their stuff official this community would have been able to finally stop being a somewhat "big" niche, but "NooOoOu they are using our ip for free we have to throw cease and decist left and right to destroy our reputation, also lets make an official 40k series that is cextremely Politically Correct, they gonna love it". Incase anyone didn’t realize, the kid at the beginning who got turned into one of the Marines was the same one who crashed in the drop pod and crawled all to the captain without his legs. chestnut extracts his globule and it’s the same one they give to the spider woman. On it it says “enjoys lifting heavy objects and shooting birds with his standard-issue psycho blaster”
