Exactly what it sounds like. A giant Nerf turret created by bolting together four Nerf Stampedes to create a monstrosity. Watch in HD! Facebook: archangel201... Instagram: / aeromechblasters
TheSouceOfEpicness That's true that the vulcan are quite bulky, but they can do quite a power, I would see them as a heavy machine gun than a typical LMG, plus good when playing Capture the Flag with neighborhood friends
G Bean wow what an original comment i have never read this comment be4 in my entire life good job really good clap clap you are the greatest the best youtube of all time
I just ran some quick calculations here on the firing rate, the average firing rate for 1 stampede is about 3 darts per second, times that by 4, and the 'quatrapede' gets an average fire rate of 12 darts per second if all four are firing at the same time, I don't know what over-voltage does to the fire rate but if it makes it faster it just makes the turret more powerful.
At first I thought it was a troll because when I first saw it I thought you were just gonna show us some stampedes with the troll song playing, but that was AMAZING!!!
that looks awesome. It might not have the best accuracy but it doesnt matter when your sending 20 darts flying at a person although the range is not that great.
The problem with using Vulcans for this is the fact that they can only load from the left. The WW II American antiaircraft gun using four M-2 .50 Brownings worked because they could be loaded from either side. With Vulcans, the belt feed on the right side guns would be interfered with by the empty belts coming from the left side guns. Unless, of course, you have the two sides so far apart that they can't overlap, but then the frame would probably be too wide to manage
epic devastating fire power love it. perfect defensive weapons for siege or having an uphill advantage or people charging in a hallway I LOVE THIS U GOT A SUBSCRIBER
You should do the same thing with 4 Vulcans, overpower the battery packs, and run a similar setup. The belt feeds will let you go longer without reloading AND it'll look frickin' epic. Stay cool bro.
A way to walk easier with it would be to either acquire a heap snare drum harness, or make one yourself (they hook over the shoulder and hold the base)although some modifications would be required to use the triggers easily
Good! Awesome! I am gonna make one as well! Just that I would mount only two stampedes, but use CS-35 drums instead, weighs lighter, more awesomeness, and an all-around fun gun turret with a barrel defense system.
dood dat was EPIC i wish i had zee money for that. you should do more of this stuff with like vulcans yet the stampede is waaaaay better. but keep it up your very good at this.
for single shot guns (that dont use batteries) use a spring and unite them electricaly, or mechanically, whatever way you want, but add a button to pull the springs back, pulling the reload things, reloading the guns, and thats quite good, eh?
Awesome! Good job. :) That can really put some nerf-firepower downrange. You will need a crew to help you operate it in combat though...and a lot of reload clips.
No writeup on this one. Short version is I found areas of the shell where nothing was going on inside, and drilled holes to accept screws in those locations. I started from the bottom two and worked my way up, building up the mount and installing the blasters as I went. If I could do it again though I'd start from the middle plane and work outwards.
BRILLIANT design! I'm always amazed by what you modders can do with PVC :D Imagine if they were fully modded with 36r drums. You'd win just by showing up, everyone else would just surrender xD
not sure.. thats the challenge of doing it! but something like take the protective casing thing off thats around where the clips go. you use four, you could have two the right way and two upside down. youd have to be careful where you put the frame because of the large area where the clips fit in. then you use the same idea as in the video, by using pipes to pull the triggers, and also a pipe going through the middle of the four horizontally, to pull back the handle thats moves the clips around.
I mentioned it was united only mechanically, they are not wired together electrically. The blasters could be unbolted from the mount and used just like normal without any re-wiring.
