The Queen and Prince Charles petted the horses and inspected the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment at Hyde Park Barracks in central London. Her majesty removed her glove to feed one of the younger horses with a mint.
they’re actually belong to the two horse guard regiments that protect the queen all the horses are to have a black coat and must stand 16 hands tall and all from the wilds of Ireland, if I remember, on orders of Charles the 2nd (because they meant to strike fear in the enemy and he thought they looked the best)
Elizabeth II developed the love for her people as a young princess during the harsh war years. My admiration for her story is great. I miss her and her smile.💖💖💖💖💖
Our Majesty the Queen is rather funny. When she shake hands with other humans, she will always wear gloves for hygiene reasons it is said. However, she takes off her glove to feed a horse!
she's really become more laid back recently. She probably feels that shes in her 90's now so its time to let a little loose. hopefully she will sit down one of these days and do an interview before she leaves the throne.
That HUGE horse (Clydesdale ??) was magnificent !! Just a spectacular looking animal. Blessings to HM and her devotion to her people, and care for her animals.
The Queen knows, loves, and understands horses and approaches them with the kind confidence they always immediately understand and respect. Charles sort of shuffles towards them, bows a bit, and dithers out his hand, so that the horses don't know where they are with him, and get a bit skittish. He is not fit to be king. Will William be better, or just another alarmist jitterbug like his Pa?
