I was a nurse for 43 yrs . The cause of death was multifactorial. 1. She was 96 yrs; 2. Loss of her husband ( the loss of spouse in the elderly is recognised by mds as a possible factor); 3.She did have COVID earlier in the summer ( recovered but could have had COVID complications). A heart attack or a stroke could indeed be responsible for the suddenness of her death. She was seen on a RU-vid post 2 or 3 days prior to her death. She was receiving, I believe, the new PM. She looked frail - had been for some time. She was up and able to shake hands and talk to the person. As for the bruised hand, not uncommon in the elderly; could be secondary to a fall. Studies have shown that the very ill are prone to death within 6 month or so following a fall regardless of the severity of the fall. Either way, it was reported that she died peacefully in her bed with 2 of her children at her side after a very well lived life. Sounds good to me.

The Queen's health had been failing for some time. Her husband's death was a shock and there was a lot of family turmoil in the last few months. At the age of 96 these stresses add up. I think that she calmly accepted that it was time.

Medically old age is not a cause of death. Rightfully so, however, injury from fall, pneumonia, complications due to (previously diagnosed illnesses). In her last photograph she had both hands bruised, which may speak more to either taking blood or receiving an intravenous fluids than to injury. It's less likely that if she had fallen, that she'd have injured both hands in the exact same place. Additionally referencing back to the last photo, she was extremely pale and her lips were not a good color. She was wearing lipstick but if you look closely, her upper lip is not completely covered with lipstick. This could be due to an illness, or a physiological problem such as her lungs or heart not working correctly. The latter would also tie in with reports that she was feeling tired.

It's been reported that Princess Anne stayed at the Queen's bedside for the last 24 hours of her life. If true, this tells me that something happened on Wednesday, perhaps a stroke or heart attack....I think also the combination of grief over losing Philip, Covid and the stress caused by H&M as well as being the age 96 all contributed to her passing. But something obviously changed sometime on Wed after issuing a message of condolence to Canada concerning the stabbing deaths earlier in the week in Saskatchewan. What happened Wed is the key.
@johncronin9540

Given her age, loss of her husband, and a gradual decline over the last year, it could also have been a secondary infection, such as ma respiratory infection, which can seem innocuous at first, but can quickly worsen. It’s important to remember 5hat she did have Covid, and we still don’t know all of the long term effects, or possible weakening of the respiratory system, especially for someone in their 90s. She likely also felt that she had accomplished all she needed to, and was ready to go. She may have refused transfer to a hospital, and even had a DNR (Do Not Resuscitate) order, just requesting palliative care, to make her as comfortable as possible, with no heroic measures to be taken. She obviously had everything very well planned, in incredible detail, and many people of her age express their wishes to their family and doctors regarding end of life care years ahead of time. I’m not British, so I wasn’t following the transition from one PM to another, but the fact that the two PMs had to travel to Scotland for the transition was unusual. Usually those meetings take place in London. So the Queen obviously wasn’t feeling well enough to travel even that Tuesday. She was where she wanted to be, and was likely ready to go. It was amazing that she was able to remain as active as she was for as long as she did.

At 96, the cause of death is pretty moot. Yes, even dying of old age, there's an actual cause, like heart or kidney failure. The leukemia angle is interesting, but either that would have been reported or she might have simply requested that it not be told. At her age she might have chosen to not receive treatment so as to prolong the quality of the days she had left. (I also think after receiving Liz Truss it was just a good time to go.)

When I saw the bruising on her hand, I was reminded that during my long cancer treatment the veins in my arms “blew out” and became so damaged they needed to insert the IV in the top of my hand for quite a while. It was very painful because the skin is thin and the small veins are right on top of the bones. The top of my hands immediately bruised up quite badly. On other channels I have heard that the queen had bone cancer. Leukaemia is one of the many forms of cancer in your bone marrow and blood. At her age she could’ve had this for quite a while without arriving at a medical crisis. Things obviously changed in the morning on the day of her death. Because of her age, there are so many possibilities it could be! She could have even had a stroke during the night and gradually become worse during the day. But most likely we will only know the details if the Royal family decides to share the information. 💙🙏🏽🌹🇬🇧

Honestly, that bruising on her hand could be from the simplest of things. My grandma is 90 and her hands bruise like that if she bumps it on the counter. I feel like it was just a slow decline. Maybe something like a TIA was an inciting incident that caused the quickness. I also think that location is less likely for a blood draw or IV. The AC in your elbow is generally easier and less painful to access. It's also harder to stick an elderly person in the hand especially someone thin. (Generally just harder to stick an elderly person). I just don't see that being someone's first choice for a blood draw.
@jamiezie97
@jamiezie97 Год назад
True, although for me, they more often than not end up having to use the backs of my hands for blood draws, as the veins in my arms seem to be shy. There’s no mention of the possibility of stroke which I think is highly probable. The bruising shows that blood vessels are easily broken. First, whilst I am neither a monarchist nor British, I commend your respectful and sensitive attitude towards the death of someone who worked so diligently for seven decades for the benefit of her country. My own Mum was born three years before the Queen, which was a generation which put almost religious store on duty. In fact, I knew when my Mum had only a few months left because she stopped doing the housework so that she could stay in bed. Likewise, all the signs that the Queen was dying were shown this year (2022) especially when getting to the balcony at Buckingham Palace was about all that she managed during her final Jubilee. She must have suffered terribly during her last months but even that didn´t stop her going on and granting 40 minute audiences to both of those vile wretches, Johnson and Truss, just two days before she died. Whilst I do not agree that she should have shown such Christian charity towards them, and even though it may well have been the final straw that finally killed her, I cannot but admire her for her dedication whilst also shedding a few tears

So, although you mentioned the bruising on the queen's hands in her last meeting with the new prime minister, but you fail to mention that the sclera in each eye was completely red from hemorrhaging? Given how fast everything happened on the day of her death, I would say she died of a stroke (like her sister) or some other bleeding in her body. In the previous days she was reported to be unwell, as she cancelled some engagements, but nothing immediately life-threatening. That apparently changed fast on the morning of her dying day. Camilla was to give an interview to Jenna Bush Hager that day at Dumfries, in southern Scotland. Prince Charles and his wife were picked up by helicopter from there right after he received a phone call from Balmoral around noon, so there was no time to drive by car and the helicopter was sent in advance. The queen died roughly two hours before the public announcement, which means between Charles being informed and her death were only a few hours. That would be in line with what I have experienced when working in a nursing home. People have their stroke in the morning when blood pressure rises during their normal time of waking up, and they die in the afternoon.

A very reasonable and plausible explanation. As it pains me to think of HMQEII as not healthy, I doubt she worked out regularly and from what I can gather lead a relatively indulgent lifestyle of both food and drink. Again, with the most respect for HMQEII, it would not surprise me if she had diabetes/high blood pressure simply from her diet. I could be completely off base, but regardless, she was very fortunate to have lived a full life of love and happiness. Curiosity will always make those of us who loved her like our own grandmother wonder what took her from us, but does it matter? God rest her soul, a life of duty has been rewarded with eternal peace. Long may her memory bring joy to those who loved and admired her!

@johncronin9540
@johncronin9540 Год назад
@@TylerSmith-zu9hi I doubt she suffered from diabetes. I also wouldn’t think of her lifestyle as indulgent at all. She actually had a very good overall diet, though she may have started eating less over the last few months, resulting in unintentional weight loss. From what I know, she had unusual self-discipline, and unlike her sister, and her father, she was never a smoker, which probably played a significant role in their early deaths. She also drank very moderately. While state dinners have lots of food, she had a very simple diet most of the time. Until her mobility issues made doing her job well, I would say she was probably more active than most, with her horse riding, spending time with her dogs, and the amount of walking she was able to do every day. She did live well into her 90s, after all, and was extremely active until just last year. That’s more than most people her age do. Given how detailed she was in her planning, she had her affairs in order, and she likely had all her arrangements set with regard to end of life medical care. She may have had instructions on being given palliative care only, and declined the use of extraordinary measures, or even prohibiting hospitalization. She may have had a DNR (Do Not Resuscitate) order in place. Given what we know, she was in her favorite place (Balmoral), and was just ready to go.

I think after Philip's death, she had enough. From her point of view, all of her children and grandchildren were all healthy and living, issues aside. Left more than her mark and legacy. Nothing else left for her to do that the next two generations can't handle. As much as her and Charles had issues, no mother ever wanted to bury any of her children, first born most of all. That would have utterly destroyed her more than her husband's death would or could. Both i and my stepfather not too long ago were both on our deathbeds, while it was expected in my stepfather's case my own mom despite our issues said "she might have to bury her husband but she'll be damned she'll bury her first and only son". Unfortunately, he passed as we all expected him to. I barely made it. As it turned out, i too lost the love of my life a year later and don't envy my mother or my grandmother.

I believe she had a form of cancer. Bone or leukemia. My father had the same. I believe she was diagnosed last October. I have always felt this and also said she would hang on for her platinum jubilee and then pass. I knew, not sure how that she would never get through 2022. One thing to be noted is that it is very common that couples married many years as her and Phillip that the other follows very shortly after one dies. I feel that the cancer do is not what she died from but more than likely a combination of the loss of her husband, complete exhaustion, stress that a younger Elizabeth could of handled but her older body could not, and the struggle of a cancer do. As far as why so quickly I feel she more than likely had a stroke and the combination of all above was too much. It happened the same for my grandmother. I would also like to note that my grandmother had told me that her whole family meaning parents and siblings were already gone and she knew very few people her own age anymore. She was same age as the queen. She said she was ready to go as it was time. I feel strongly that they know when it is time to go. As much as it saddened and angered me at the time I understood what my grandmother meant. I believe she had a stroke as her frail body could not fight any longer and how lucky she was to choose to go quickly rather than suffer and struggle. I firmly believe all of this but the public will never know and will accept simply old age.

Cannulas definitely cause bruising like that, especially in the elderly who have weaker veins and arteries that are more likely to leak blood into the surrounding area. Also, pain medication such as Ibuprofen and other drugs in the NSAID category can make you more susceptible to bruises. It's very likely the Queen was on some kind of pain relief regimen for her mobility issues. When old people fall, especially when they are in their 90s, bruising will appear on the forearm or elbow, if they are lucky not to break their wrist/forearm by putting a hand out to break their fall. Old ladies are at risk of brittle bones (osteoporosis) as their body no longer produces enough Oestrogen to stabilise their bones following the menopause. There's also great risk of breaking hips when older people fall as they may suffer from osteoporosis and they often have less body fat to cushion the fall. I think it's far more likely that she had a severe stroke or a heart attack on the night of the 7th or the morning of the 8th.

Oh please. My Mother has always bruised easily all her life. Her hands bruised most often. As she got older her hands were most often bruised and nearly a constant state. She passed on at nearly 91 years of age in 2021. She was satisfied with the length and quality of her life. From THE QUEEN'S smiling face I believe she probably felt the same at 96 years of age. I miss her terribly but I am grateful she didn't suffer for a lengthy period of time. Rest in Blessed Peace Beautiful QUEEN ELIZABETH II. I really love you. A Colorado Mountain Grandma,. USA 💜

🌟The Queen was a Bible believing Christian. The Bible tells us that in this life we will be ‘ tested like gold, purified with fire ‘ 1 Peter 1:7. Every trial, mental or physical, will refine us more and more into the character of Jesus, if we understand that and put our trust in Him. ❤️ “My brothers and sisters in God’s family , I want you to rejoice and keep a positive attitude whenever you face various trials, because every trial exercises your trust in God - which overcomes fear and selfishness- and builds a confidant, steadfast application of His healing process. And this steadfast engagement in God’s treatment must be completed so that you may be fully healed, mature, and like Christ in character, not lacking anything “. James 1:2-4 ).

Her health took an unexpected turn on The Morning of September 8th that Doctors so became concerned,that needed to have The family come. It was not until 6:50 a.m.BST that morning The Queen's flight was dissipated from Windsor Castle to go pick up Prince Charles. After stopping to refuel in Carlisle,England,The helicopter arrived at Dumfries House(Charles's house in Scotland) to pick Charles,and arrived with Him at Belmoral at 10:27 A.M.

The bruise on her hand could be caused by an IV. I bruise terribly from needles and IVs. As to depression I just don't think so. Yes she lost her husband but she had a large and loving family excepting the pair in the US. She stayed mentally active, fulfilled her duties as monarch and except for outings where her mobility would be at risk she still tried to be visable to her subjects. I believe the Queen was ill with something and eventually it will be released.

The most likely cause would be peripheral vascular disease based on decreased mobility and the bruise may be caused from differential blood flow from the heart to extermities, thus causing mobility issues and muscle weakness. Ultimately the cause of death is unknwon but its likely that she passed from a cadiovacular related event, eg. myocardial infarction. Presumedly to not cause as much pain, HCPs would have given her lethal dosage of morphine + barbitol to avoid such adverse effects and pass peacefully.

Exactly. When I saw that photo on the news a couple of days before she passed I noticed that both hands, not just her right, are blue, including all her fingers. Her legs where puffier than normal and the swelling almost had a demarcation line starting between her knees and shins and going down to her feet. It seemed obvious to me that she had circulations issues, probably from a failing heart. Swollen legs and feet from fluid retention would have caused her mobility problems. Because of what I saw I thought she might not survive very long. When I heard that the family had been called to her bedside I knew it was her time and kept waking up here in Australia to check the news from England of her passing. I also expected morphine for pain. I have no medical background just know from personal experience and observation.

Yeah, I believe bruising can be from the simplest things, especially for old people. Even bumping your hand on the table or bumping your foot at the table edge can cause bruises. I do really believe that her majesty died from leukemia since her hands were black and she had reduced mobility and fatigue. The death of Philip and her two closes friends did affect her, but not that much. She seemed happy in the photos. Well, she can be smiling on the outside but crying on the inside, but I don't think that she was that sad and she has to move on.

I feel the beautiful Queen 👑 died of broken heart disease, which is a real disease. When you have a terrible shock like the loss of a loved one and it affects you deeply part of the muscle of the heart dies. As the Queen 👑 had quite a few shocks over 2021-2022 this could've contributed to her death significantly. It could go hand in hand with leukaemia as well.

Responding as a physician and hospice medical director I believe the bruising on the back of the hand is related to a previous IV not trauma. Without an autopsy it’s impossible to know the exact cause of death. Old age is not acceptable and would never be appropriate on a death certificate. Not allowing a postmortem examination is very unusual.
@dawnmiller6899

Although not written as old age on death certificate they do say natural causes as the reason. I don’t believe the family needed an autopsy as they knew of cancer do and all contributing factors. The suddenness leads me to believe she had a stroke.

It looks like the site where an I.V. was inserted into the top of her hand. Lots of patients young and old get pretty bruised when theyve had an iv. Older patients have thinner more fragile skin on the hands. One can have an i.v. inserted for lots of things; when theyre dehydrated, when they need meds such as pain meds or antibiotics, etc. 😊 Thats my guess. 😊

I suspect that following the death of her beloved Prince Philip barely a year before her own passing, Her Late Majesty simply died of a broken heart, as what happened to Queen Victoria in 1901 after Prince Albert passed in 1861 - I fondly recall Her Late Majesty’s State Visit to my native Republic of Ireland and for me as an Irish patriot living 21 years in the U.K., her speech in Dublin Castle was deeply moving and heartfelt - when the President of Ireland visited Windsor this was hugely heartwarming to see and it made me so proud to be Irish and living in this wonderful country as long as I have 🇮🇪☘️🇬🇧❤️

Of course the death of her husband of 70+ years affected her. She’d been in love with him since she was a young teenager. She was 96 years old, so of course she was going to have medical issues and a health decline. She was healthy having stayed away from things that would affect her health. I cannot even finish this video because of the absurd reasons people are thinking that they think actually needs more of a thorough investigation. People that are in the medical field would understand the bruising on her hands. I just cannot with it.

Okay, pointing out the obvious. I was a nursing assistant for many years and this means I cared for elderly people. The older you get, the more fragile your skin becomes. I’m a phlebotomist and most of my patients are elderly and/or very sick The bruising on the hand is most likely from a blood test 🤷🏻‍♀️ A lot of the time with people in their 90’s their arms are quite hard to bleed and you gotta bleed the hands, plus when they’re very frail and their skin is very fragile it is very hard not to cause a bruise, and anyone inexperienced can easily cause black bruises like that Genuinely had a late 80’s woman come in from emergency whose entire left arm was covered in black bruises (right arm was unusable), the Doctors in ED had tried so many times that they left bruises for a week!!!

This comment is absurdly long, but I think your video deserves detailed comment. Good analysis and commentary. I am surprised there has been no official announcement as to cause of death, or if an autopsy was performed. I doubt it, at her age. Inbreeding: Bless you for pointing out that ERII enjoyed genetic diversity and was in no way inbred as is seen in royalty of the past. And if she was, it couldn’t have been too much of a problem as she lived to 96 with very few health problems along the way, that I know of. Depression: Certainly could be a factor, not that she was actually depressed, but the loss of a longtime spouse often seems to hasten the death of the surviving partner. I saw it with my mother‘s parents who died six months apart. Injury: If she suffered an injury, the doctors must not have thought it very serious, because as you point out everyone seems to have been caught off guard with her suddenly worsening. Unless she did have a fall and perhaps struck her head, which as we know can be misdiagnosed and cause death days later, quite suddenly. Doesn’t seem likely, given she met the PM just before her death. Leukemia: you listed as the most likely cause, and certainly could be, though I know little about it. At that age, things can happen very quickly. Perhaps a small stroke or blood clot which rendered her unconscious but alive for several hours, as they scrambled to notify her family. Not to be conspiratorial, but perhaps someone gave her the wrong medication, or overmedicated. These things can happen, though seems highly unlikely. Although I am an American, I’ve always admired and respected the Queen. Whatever the mechanics of her death, I personally believe that God was gracious and granted her a gentle death after having enjoyed good quality of life until the very end, even still being able to stand and walk (which her grandmother could not do for her last two years). And she ended her days at her beloved Balmoral. We should all hope for such a death. I take comfort knowing she is eternally at peace.

It can affect someone’s health and the fact that they were married for so long, i believe she died of “a broken heart.” Her hand, along with the bruising, if you look closely at her fingers, they’re very white. This points to bad circulation and again, her heart.

Everything that was mentioned in the above video points to one thing. Natural causes. These things are more likely to happen the older a person gets. I’ve seen many elderly people with similar bruising on their hands. The skin on the hands is thin and papery and bruises easily. It wouldn’t take much for the bruise to have happened with even the slightest blow. Really, barring any surprise announcements about the Queen’s health at the time of death, it is safe to say that she died of natural causes.

as you get older, your skin becomes much thinner therefore bruising appears much faster and easier. imo i think the queen was so heartbroken over losing philip that she just didn't have the will to go on like she did before. you spend that many years with someone your heart is so broken and you are lonely. leave the queen rest in peace. she gave her life in service to the country and gosh i am sure she was exhausted.

A blood disease can normally develop by some rare disorder, or something can be taken, or given, to a patient, that would cause an onset of a blood disorder. There's several different kinds of drugs that can constrict the blood flow, causing a vascular disease. PVD is a slow progressing vascular disorder, so in cases of possible foulplay, this is not easily detected. But in order for this to have developed, a blockage or narrowing of a blood vessel would have had to occur causing the other organs in the body to detioriate slowly. If there was something unnatural that was done to her, (foulplay), furthermore, they are not going to have an open casket (despite that they don't do one anyway) because if there had happened to be an expert present, and/or someone who he did not pay to lie, they would have been able to notice something was not right and question it, and they certainly could not have that. They must have studied up on this and knew this beforehand, when they started her "breakdown" of lack of cardio vascular movement, by not letting her go out and do things anymore, or attend social events that she was scheduled to attend or letting her drive her car by herself anymore, or ride her horses, or take her dogs out for a walk anymore, or just taking a walk out in her garden to look at her flowers. Basically we think, that they were depriving of basic exercise that would have helped to keep her health up. For about 5 or 6 months we think that they were restricting her, and keeping her housebound. (God only knows what took place, or what happened to her during that period). And after this period of seeming restriction was over with, we noticed that she was finally let out into the general public view again, looking like she had endured alot, and curiously, her " freedom" seemed to come back, after she had "agreed" to compose a letter, saying that when Charles was made King, that Camilla would be Queen Consort. We noticed that as soon as the Queen signed that official letter, and when that became public knowledge, then the Queen magically surfaced again. (Or was finally allowed to again). If something was given to the Queen; to purposely cause and promote a blood disorder, then that can ofcourse bring many symptoms of mobility issues, by attacking parts of the body, because the blood disorder breaks down vital body functions, including mobility. We believe that this might be the real cause of her death, and it would make sense why nobody from the Monarchy wants to talk about the truth and facts.
