I started playing again, after decades, and had to buy another drum set, my son has my Slingerland 80N,,, a big set, so I went for this smaller one, the Breakbeat by Ludwig,, I really like it and it sounds great with all new Remo Emperor Coated Heads,, Now I gotta say: That's one small set for a Band,,, One Giant Sound for Bandkind!
I play drums for +- 3 years, bought it as my 1st acoustic drum kit. Done some gigs already with it, it's pretty good! The kick sometimes I feel like need more but if it's mic'd it's good enough! totally recommend for small gigs / pubs and so on
Nice demo Laura. I love these kits so much I bought a 2nd one and recovered it in Vintage Sky Blue pearl. The kick is a little cannon with an Evans E-mad. On the toms I have clear Remo pinstripes one one kit and clear Evans Hydraulics on the other. I can even do louder gigs with the BD mic'd.
Would have enjoyed it more if you actually put them bags on the drums to demonstrate. I need to keep good relationships with my neighbors so this feature is key for me.
Question, but which Zildjian cymbals were used for this kit? I actually own a breakbeat kit but I really like the tone of these cymbals for this kit used in this clip. Could you reply the model and sizes of each of the cymbal used?
