Thanks, B! I enjoy all of your content but your product reviews/overviews are my favorite and what brought me here. You’re the only channel where I will immediately buy something based solely on your opinion. 👍
Brian, I know for a product to get a 9 out of 10 score from you it has to be really good. Also, that score is seldom achieved. I suggest maybe a video on those elite products that have been worthy enough to get there? Keep up the great work!!
Seems to be an infinite amount of solid car care brands and products to choose from. Keeps taking my money from me but I enjoy how they work on my vehicles and it’s still cheaper than a crack habit.
I just did a 2015 Ford Taurus, grey and had water spots on the entire vehicle for over 2 years. I was able to take them all off using Chemical Guys Water spot remover. Added to a microfiber applicator, worked in 2x2 sections, removed using Carpro Exlir Detailing spray and it cleared it all up. Took a while to do the entire vehicle, but it worked. The Carpro Elxir gave it a high gloss and shine. I was looking for something that would work that i could spray and wipe, hadnt found anything even close to Chemical Guys water spot remover, so was thinking about trying this to see if its effective.
Brian a found a real gem in this category. Was wondering if you could do your thing with it. It’s called Technicians Choice 3 in 1 surface clarifier. It claims to removed brake dust & iron deposits. It doesn’t do well in that category but where it really really shines is as a mineral deposit remover, coating unclogging, water spot remover. It can be diluted 2:1 so you get 3 gallons of chemical for roughly $35. Fingers crossed that you can review it thanks
Your videos have been huge help to me starting out doing some paint correction on my own. I do have a few questions. How do you remove scratches off taillights? What kind of compounds would you use? Do you still recommend Wizards Mystic Cut or is 3D one overall better if the paint is soft and for use on tailights? For soft paints (2023 Nitro Yellow Supra if it is soft) what do you add after the polishing step? Sealant? What about removing water spots on glass? At what point would you use a compound and what cut? Do you have any magic solutions scratches on carbon fiber and/or the piano black pieces? I know it's a lot of questions so thank you very much for your time.
Plastic polishes are fine for tail lights. 3M has a few. Any compound from 3D will do. Wizards is a good choice as well. For soft paint Phoenix EOD Fab Finish. my BC2 as a sealant. apexsurfaceprotection.store/
I recently tried the Fireball Water Spot remover, it stripped my ArtdeShine BX and Bio Nano sealant. Strong, but not enough to remove the water spots unfortunately, so I guess I will have to polish and use some Apex coating!
I have water spots on my car that has clearly etched into the clearcoat, because using Gyeon Water did not really do much to resolve it. Or it could mean that I have to resort to cutting and polishing with a machine. If so, what compound and pad do you recommend to use for removing hard water spots? And what type of car shampoo do I have to use beforehand?
As far as results AND ease of use, how does this Gyeon Water Spot remover work vs. Gtechniq w9 Water Spot remover? Brian have you used both products to recommend one over the other?
Thats cool. Brian, i dont think all water spots are created equal. Some water is terrible, and some not so bad. Some water spots i had to wet sand out. Question: are all water spot removers about the same when it comes to chemistry? I really like Gyeon products and Carpro. Same chemistry? Thanks Brian.
Hello Brian, tried water spot chemicals including gyeon water spot remover to no avail. Black Mercedes left outside in rain, no sprinkler system only rain water. Unfortunately I was out of town and the rain water baked the water beads now I have lots of water spots. My question is after polishing to remove the spots what paint protection will stop rain water from leaving water spots ? Thank you for your advice. Didn’t think rain water would cause such a huge issue on the gyeon coating. Bummer!
Always love Gyeon products! I have this on the shelf as well. Question, for clay lubrication do you see great benefit to using Clay Lube vs rinseless wash? I use rinseless since it's so inexpensive
Are there any hard water deposits that *aren't* etching? Just trying to figure out why vinegar has never worked on my car, which is a hard-clear VW, and whether the Gyeon would make any difference.
Great video Brian, could you review some of the foam on waxes and sealants? such as koch chemie protector wax and diy quick beads? I've also seen people foaming up a bottle of beadmaker as well lol. I'm curios to see if this application compares to the more traditional, as it will become the easiest and most viable if the results are good
What about winshild watter that baked on the roof. Today i tryied everything ... And i was left with sand paper 1200 and heavy rotaty polishing to get them out.... I tryed this spot remover and nothing

@@The_Cyberz Because clay bars are abrasive. And will mar the finish to varying degrees. A lot of customers will not see the damage or care to pay for a correction.
The effectiveness of a water spot remover will be influenced by the level of contaminants in the water. Spots left by 400 ppm water are likely to be more difficult to remove than those left by 200 ppm water - all other things being equal.
I've done this with like 90% success. Polished a few cars. Some of the spots will just not come out unless you wet sand the paint a bit. Even when they don't come out they are very well minimized so you can barely see them. First always use a chemical like this before you polish or sand
I tried carpro spotless haven’t really seen the results I want with it. I seem to run into that a lot with carpro. Which leads me to think there nothing but hype! However Gyeon stuff I have used has been good.
your whole there is no perfect product out there saying is complete bs. You ever use poor boys black hole glaze? Absolutely hands down one of the best glazes for dark paint. The easy wipe on and effortless wipe off is superb. So many detailing products out there that literally does exactly what it says leaving nothing else to be desired.
