The room is amazing. The video? Not so much. Typical Microsoft showmanship-style marketing that makes me glad I don't work there (Microsoft best in class products? Really?). Completely amazing room, though. I'd love to talk to the person(s) who built it!

Hi Microsoft... I want to meditate in this Room

Is this room even fixed to something? (at least on the floorside, where it is inside of the containing outer room, like standing on any kind of supports or foam? or is it already standing on smallest-diameter steel-pins/cones with nothing else like damping material around them plus foaming /damper material on either side of these supports - or on kind of air-cushioning ?) ? if so: how could it be decoupled even better from any source of sound/oscillation/movement. ? of course I have this idea : making the inner room free-floating on strongest permanent magnets - means : no mechanical supports anywhere - and also with a possibility to evacuate the space between inner and outer room from air, so it can be put inside of a vacuumed frame of space all around of it. -> no mechanical touch plus the absolute barrier for every kind of acoustic waves or shocks - because of a vacuum like in space. This should be something really "perfect". Only instruments allowed inside while the isolation space is evacuated, no personnel (because no fresh air can be vented through it as well). No wires to the inside. (battery operation required for anything) This is what I call perfect silencing.
