Here’s the thing. Her parents had said no. And I’m sure they didn’t say no simply because they wanted to say no. They probably said no because they have payed so much for everything and it might not be on their budget or they might not have as much financial freedom. You also have to think that one dress is enough and yes some people get 2 dresses, but some people don’t even get one. She has to be more grateful for the dress she already has and she should have listened when they originally said no. And maybe they said yes in the end because she was putting them so much on the spotlight, basically making them say yes to not look bad. Yes it’s your dream quince, but also think how much work your parents have to endure to make this possible. People should consider that. Our parents work hard to give us a better life, and in life we don’t get everything we want.
I feel like she put them in the spotlight..; she told the worker she was gonna convince them to say yes to 2 dresses, I feel like she was setting them up and because they were in front of a camera, they felt pressured and didn’t wanna look bad
She kinda ungrateful bc if she has a dress already and wants another one and her parents said no, she has to listen to her parents and they already are wasting a lot of money on the quince and she wants a other one, like come on 1 dress is enough
If it were me I would have chosen a yellow as a primary color for the second dress instead of red velvet. Her quinceanera is in August but that dress screams winter time. And yellow does a better job of complementing lavender.
I agree entirely, but that red dress is unique compared to what most other people buy, and it is really gorgeous. I would have a really tough time putting that dress down as well
They say no but can’t say “sorry I ran out of money”because they don’t want to show their kids that they are out of budget And I understand if I had a child I would not want them to think they aren’t living good or worry about money at a young age. But at the same time I would kindly educate them on the value of money and how budgeting is the best way to get what you want without breaking the bank.

i have been dreaming of my quince since i was 5 years old but bc i now live in New Zealand i can not go to the moda store and say yes to the dress. :( i am so heartbroken that i will never be able to have that special moment.
