You should do a deck profile for what you ran!! The amount of effort you put into your videos is incredible, cant wait to see your count grow! Keep up the good work man!
They do really add to the experience. Seeing a tribute Goliath pass is a lot funnier than hearing it. It makes the videos that tiny bit better on top of the smooth edits.
Nyhmnim, would you mind doing a banlist prediction video? I am compiling an excel spreadsheet that compares all the predictions of the most prevalent yugitubers and I wanna include you in it to see how all of you predict. I plan on sharing this sometime tomorrow with Jon from HoC (regardless if the banlist hits), but obviously if the banlist drops and you don't post anything, I won't be able to include you (which I really want to since you are very knowledgeable).
Hey man, great video! I don't know if you remember me, but I was the chain burn player that ran into you. I ended up going 2-4, then dropping out. I had a great time at my first regional, and it was great to meet you as well!
gyazo.com/87eda6024c694844098e447786c832f6 extra deck can be anything really, just keep the kuriboh's and the ulti falcon. Besides that, cherries targets.
@@724Hades nice, how were your loses tho'? Like red reboot or sekka? Jaja or a negator, i play chain burn and managed to top the 2 tournaments I entered, just like 100 persons thought
Lost to cyber dragon, subterror, crusadia guarddragon, and altergeist. Nobody played reboot nor denko, honestly all really close games. The most tragic game was vs cyber dragon going game 2, im going first and opened 2 lava golems, 2 demise, and 1 ring. Kinda hopeless at that point. All other games we went game 3 and played it out.
At Cologne Regionals, there were 622 players, it was too much for the location, everyone had like 10 centimeters of space to play (no im not kidding, felt like speed duel), there weren't enough tables for every player so they told the players to Wait until other players are finished and just take their place but they have to keep track of time themselves. How should they find themselves you may ask? They had to ask around LOL. I left the regional at 2-0 because my (now ex-) GF couldn't play the planned speed duel tournaments due to them being canceled after 7 hours of waiting. She got reasonably upset and I left the regional for the better of my relationship. No I do not have my invite. She left me a week later anyway. Women huh
With so many floodgate hand traps and playing a mirror that feels like a coin flip i just couldnt play combo decks rn. Really hard to be consistent at large events
Dude, you gotta use Duel Checkers. Konami USA doesn't print them, but JP does, so there's no way you'd get in trouble for it. Just have some type of card (that isn't a ygo card or token) that reminds you of stuff, for instance, what zone not to play spells and traps in to get them negated.
If your opponent controls more monsters than you do, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). He had more monsters than his opponent, so he was able to summon it.
Infinite impermanence was set beforehand, and it negates all spells and traps in that column if it is set before its played. Since he activated Melody in zone 3, and impermanence was activated zone 3, his melody's effects were negated.
How hype!! Absolutely love your videos man. I’m gonna be driving 6 hours from Massachusetts to play in September’s Philly Regional! Are you gonna be going?
The hands that I portray on DB aren’t perfect recreations, they’re as close as I can remember them. Also, I banished a Levianeer discarded off a danger.
In general, how many wins you have at an event does not matter. Whether or not you get an invite or top only takes into account how many losses you have.
@@kankanjustkant6318 Say I went x-1 and left the regional. My loss score wouldn't be different from Gage going x-1 to top cut at the same tournament. Would my experience count as much as Gage's here? We *do* have the same losses in this scenario. Win ratio is a more valuable measure than losses, even considering top cut. You don't take away any information, you just add some that can be used to measure overall skill and performance.
The majority of people (at locals or hearing deck lists of top YCS players) say X-losses. All that matters at events is if you top, and the only thing that matters when topping is your losses.
Man, I’ve been watching your channel occasionally for a long time. Your production quality is great, but playing Yugioh is not your strong suit. You said you played for many years but have 0 YCS and regional tops, and every single video you give us a reason that explains why. We always see an abysmal misplay or a terrible deckbuilding choice. You’re a really bad player, and you haven’t improved at all in the years I’ve watched you. “I’m confident and tested my deck”, goes x-3 at regional.
Wow get out of here with that negativity kid. Not everyone can be the best at everything but Nhymnim is way better than me at YGO. There’s a difference between constructive criticism and just pure trash talk. GTFO
@@Deathslayer296 Someone needs to clearly give Nhymnim a clear reality check about his skill as a player. As he's stated in this video, competitive success is something that he strives for, and unless there's some serious improvements, he's not going to get it.
zenmaines355 so getting on his RU-vid channel and bashing him will make him any better? How about offering some constructive criticism if seeing him improve is so important to you that you would publicly call him out on his own video.
