I loved this TV program. It was so beautiful. It was part of my childhood and for years I never forgot at least the melodies. I loved it so much.

Thank you for letting me transcribe the lyrics for this album. It was an honour to show my love for the Raccoons in this small way and I really enjoyed the process. Transcribing the lyrics helped me to understand and appreciate all of the songs more deeply. "Takin' My Time" and "To Have You" are my favourites on this album. "Takin' My Time" is a nice, gentle song that reminds me of Schaeffer, who is one of my favourite characters. Leo Sayer and Rita Coolidge's voices are beautiful and blend together well in "To Have You." The emotion level rises in a way that I can feel the increasing longing expressed in the song by listening. "Lions and Tigers" was the most challenging because I had trouble understanding the words at first. Still, I got it done. Overall, this was a good project for me and I hope it helps others too.

You know, I have to say that "Friends" is my least favorite song ever used in The Raccoons, by, like, a large margin, and it's still a pretty good song. There are just no stinkers in this cartoon.
