You two have worked so hard on this boat and it really shows. Everything is looking so well done. And the list is getting smaller! You are going to really enjoy the fruits of that labor when you are sitting in the cockpit drinking Mai-Tai's with soft ocean breezes gently crossing the decks. Have a good week ahead.
You guys seem exhausted. Glad you are prioritizing what actually needs to be done. Being in the water will be worth it though. There's light at the end of this boat building tunnel!

Wow! You must be so ready to get finished with this stage. Good move putting some minor issues off until you get experience with where you actually need stuff. Nobody knows it all first time around. @@livingwiththemaias Sorry I meant those types Marelon, etc. where i am SS is usually 50-75% more than marelon! Like the idea to use dairy industry SS valves! Might change the nuts on the bolts to nylocks though. More vibration in a boat than a diary farm I suspect!
She's really coming together now, looking beautiful. One question, are you really feeding the grey water from the washing machine into the holding tank? I would have thought it would go overboard along with shower water and washing up water.
Keep making " The To Do List " shrink. the shorter it gets the sooner you will be ready for the shake down cruse to do all the testing of the systems and handling of every thing on the boat before you cut the lines and head out for your New Adventure. But First the next big thing i am looking forward too is when you raise the mast and make your boat in to a sail boat once again. As for now i am really enjoying watching you install all the systems in to the boat seeing how i was in engineering on my ship and what i worked on most of the time. So keep up the great work it really shows just how much you are per pairing to start your new adventure in life.

Hey julle twee :-). I have watched each and every single episode so far and you have done an absolutely amazing job. It sure is achievement you can be proud off. But unless i have missed it, I think there is one big thing you have missed or neglected to mention/ show. In my eye the most important. I have not seen a biltong dryer in any of the episodes. Just in case i missed it i will re-watch all the episodes again from the beginning. But i dont thing it is something you should leave SA without. I am greatly concerned for your safety and well being without biltong out in the open waters. If you ever make it to New Zealand and you still dont have one i will be more than happy to sponsor one.
So Ricky can build a yacht from ground up including it's electricity and machnic shit, but can't operate a fucking washing machine. 😂😂😂 Makes total sense ya know...
@Alex G we dont have a lot of work around the boat for him at the moment so we decided to get him a more permanent job to guarantee he gets an income. He has come and helped us on a few weekends though. Our money is also getting tight so we need to cut costs out to minimal.
