I may be an Aboriginal Australian but this music always brings tears to my eyes. Utterly beautiful, haunting and powerful. Thank you Mr Ryuichi Sakamoto
@@ericoshimatta515 Agree. Its hard to convey to my peers how much this music moves me. Its perfection. I also read the novel Forbidden Colors by Yukio Mishima in my 20's and loved it. This makes this composition very personal for me. As an Aboriginal Australian soul under growth and so invested in all that it entails. You are right. It speaks to all of our souls.
This is one of Ryuichi Sakamotos best. I thought it was great when I first saw the movie and I have never forgotten it. It is sad that he has passed away. His score for The Last Emperor is also very good. RIP.
Ryuichi Sakamoto, You are Truly Phenomenal.. The Most ECLECTIC Composer. I am in tears, only having heard today (Sat. 8th April, 2023) of your passing on Tues.28/3/2023. The World has lost the most Exquisite & Phenomenal person..( I have admired all your artistry since the age of 14 yes of age. I am now 52) 🌻😔🙏
I go to bed and hear this music. I dance with my arms and hands to this music. I see birds with outstretched wings. I see the sun rise and set. I see peace after the storm.
Grazie Maestro Ryuichi Sakamoto
One of the most beautiful music in human history. He could be the same level as Mozart. Well he studied classics first and turned to techno pop in YMO, you know. Nowadays I listen to YMO, thinking of him struggling against cancer now but got more shocking news this morning (1/15)... Yukihiro Takahashi just passed away ...only at age 70.
Pretty much one of the most haunting pieces that has stayed with me throughout my life. I’m writing this with water in my eyes lol RIP Mastro Saykomoto
